We will be keeping everyone updated on future progress for the bench and tree and dedication ceremony! ****

As some of our BSC family will know, in 2012 the Bloomfield community lost a very dear young lady in tragic circumstances. Christina Lembo was an avid member of the Bloomfield travel soccer program and Bloomfield High School team. We lost her in her junior year of high school.

A commemorative bench and tree for Christina has been planned at the Lion Gate field. Our hope is that future soccer players in the Bloomfield community will continue to remember her and honor her legacy.

As anyone who knew her will testify, Christina was an inspirational human, she was caring, compassionate, and courageous. Her love for her friends and family was obvious, her belief and compassion for those less fortunate was empowering. Her hustle in soccer was contagious. Often the first to arrive at practice, and always the last to leave she would always give her best effort in practice, at games and in life.
