Grindal worms are so much easier to keep than hatching brine shrimp. The worm culture has various sizes. The smaller ones look like they might be small enough for newly hatched axolotls.

Are Grindal worms a viable option for raising axolotl fry?
Seems like it. They are high in protein: 70% and fat 14.5%. They are just the right size for most of the newly hatched babies.

I'm moving the worms onto scouring pads so it's easier to harvest. Rinse them in dechlorinated water and they fall out. I'm going to try to start a culture using sponges next.
