This is a post I am having to write so we can all be on the same page. This season took a turn for the worst, and is going down as our most stressful and disheartening Hognose breeding season in history. This one incubator we have used for 4 years now and everything has worked perfectly. The thermostat is checked and ran properly each year we have it placed on the line. Never failed us nor shown signs of any inconsistency. Considering the amount of females we decided to breed this season yielded a larger than normal amount of clutches. Sadly in the middle of incubating this years clutches. This specific thermostat malfunctioned and caused Air condenser to kick on and not shut off when it hit the desired set temp. This open relay caused temps to dip from 78F down to 40F which is the coolest setting the fridge can reach. Through a short 5 hour window these eggs sat in that temp and when we noticed the fridge was cooling. We had to slowly bring the temps up without shocking the eggs more than they’ve already had to endure. This means open each tub and wipe out all the condensation from the eggs. Also let them eggs internal temps regulate to what they are supposed to be. Unfortunately we lost 21 clutches over the course of three weeks. So this year we learned a few things that have once again proved to us once again just how much of an emotional roller coaster this hobby can be. Prior to this heartbreaking incident we had been on a great course. The changes needed have been made to ensure this won’t happen again. But needless to say this year we have been falling short to fill waiting list. Please be patient and thank you for understanding. These things can happen to anyone so make sure you guys double and triple check everything. We did and it still happened.

Purple line Albino Superconda x Extreme Red/Purple Albino female. This is 1 of only 2 pairs we went with to produce Purple line Albino animals with no hets. Excuse the p**p on the males back. Male Leucistic 66% het Albino male had fathered some nice clutches. Hopefully the odds are in our favor this year.

Superconda het Lavender 66% het Albino female laid slugs the first time around. This is her second and we didn’t introduce the male but she still laid some fertile eggs.

Very exciting news here. We have seem to be fortunate enough to have hatched 2 very special Hognose. This pairing was Arctic Albino Anaconda het Evan’s Hypo-Caramel (Frost) x Arctic Anaconda triple het Albino-Evan’s Hypo-Caramel. We seem to have hatched a Super Arctic Frosted and Super Arctic Frosted Anaconda in this first clutch. They are Blue and Black at the moment. We’ve hatched many Super Arctic stuff and we never seen one’s like these two. Bellies are clear as well from what I can see.

Athena! The queen of the castle. If you have spoken to me for any amount of time you will know I really love two morph combos. Frosteds and ESPECIALLY bubs daddy’s (super arctic albino anacondas). Each of these morphs has extreme variation from one individual to another which is why I love them so much! No words can describe how grateful and taken back I am every single day to own and work with such incredible animals. She was produced by and is up to 56g now.

I am awestruck that Rosy could have produce such a gorgeous clutch! In total we have 11 spectacular babies. In this clutch we produced 3 extreme red albino super anacondas, 1 extreme red albino, 2 extreme red albino tigers, three high expression extreme red albino anacondas, and 2 reduced pattern extreme red albino anacondas. They are all for sale. No photoshop was used, just room lighting.
