Meet the latest 4H survivor ❤️🐐

This precious boy was being raised for slaughter by a girl participating in the 4H program in Morro Bay, CA. His life would have been traded for a sum of money and his body would have been cut up into pieces and sold as “food”. Luckily, we were able to get him out of the 4H program alive before any major harm could be done to him.

The girl who was raising him is also raising a pig for slaughter, and she didn’t have time to prepare both of them for auction so she decided to find her goat a home. Unfortunately, the pig she is raising will still be going to slaughter later this month so it’s only a happy ending for this sweet boy. We hope the girl will realize that what the 4H program is teaching her is wrong and that she should let her pig live as well.

This goat will be going to a forever home in Northern California this Friday and for the time being he is residing at a foster home in Arroyo Grande.
