The last few weeks have been great! Grooming always proposes new opportunities, challenges and relationships. I am thankful always for all of the trust put in me to care for these guys!

Also I will do my best to get pictures and post of every pup, but just like us they don't always appreciate it!

This was Siciliy's 4th groom with me and I think we will be on our way to learning some Asian Fusion together in the future. (She had the perfect fur for it now we just gotta learn the process!)

Gosh Cain is a doll!
He's another reactive baby that only "needed" the muzzle for his front legs.
The muzzle was on very loose and always takes away from the idea that he could bite.

When I first met Cain he had been turned away mid groom from a shop. She (the groomer) had told me that he was very aggressive, bit without warning and tried to jump off of the table. Only his body was shaved and nails undone.
When he came to me I finished the groom. Although he was very reactive, I worked with him slowly and we got everything done in a pinch. Even those claws!

A method I tend to use for reactive or nervous dogs is to only use a tether of necessary and even then I do so loosely. Same with muzzles. I give a lot of breaks and pets.

I'm so glad that now Cain has trust in me and that he and his parents can rest easy when it comes to grooming!

Chauncey did so well today that we went nearly thr entire groom without any biting!
He is very reactionary and whips around and bites every chance he gets. Fast and hard.
Today we got all the way until his last leg when he finally had enough.
Go Chauncey!!
