As we have already seen action taken in our own city on this virus, “Experts recommend isolating dogs amid respiratory 'mystery illness”. Fox News talked with our own Dr. Lindsey Ganzer about this virus and how you can protect your beloved pets.

Experts believe the unidentified condition, which leads to severe antibiotic-resistant pneumonia, is contagious and contracted by dogs in group settings.

Although it’s sad to see this fun event canceled, we believe our friends at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo did the right thing in the face of this canine respiratory illness.

November Dog Days events have been canceled out of an abundance of caution around a circulating unknown canine respiratory illness. We apologize for any disappointment, but we want to do our part to help keep our guests' furry family members safe this holiday season. We hope to offer Dog Days in the future.

All dog tickets and human tickets purchased with dog tickets will be refunded. Dog Days ticket holders will receive an email. If you would like to visit without your dog next week, please repurchase your tickets.

🌟 We had a wonderful time at our groundbreaking ceremony & celebration last month 🌟

The temps may have been low, but the energy was high!

Cofounder and CEO Lindsey Ganzer kicked things off by thanking everyone for coming to show their support and to share what's in store with the new year around the corner. Then Lindsey, K Rene Plant, Matt Hubbell, and Cathy Yelton gathered together, golden shovel in hand(s), and broke ground — 🙌 North Springs Veterinary Referral Center has arrived!

Afterward, everyone made their way to Colorado Mountain Brewery to celebrate with apps and beverages. Our guests got fun swag bags — the cat ears were a hit — and our team got the opportunity to connect one on one with attendees.
