It's 6am and I sit here writing my final post as the owner of "my little dog & co." & The Spa. It's been a sad time these past couple months from the day I announced the closing of my business due to the impossible task of hiring additional groomers to keep my spa open. Who would have known there would be a shortage!

I have been thankful to have Bridget, who many of you know is my groomer along with her own pup, Rufus! She has created these beautiful grooms strutting around the Captial Region!
It has been an amazing year and I have been so happy to have pursued my dream of providing a state of the art unique, beautiful, safe, stressfree enviornment for your four legged companions🐶
It's been a pleasure meeting you and your pups! I will miss you all. I feel honored to have shared in those moments of meeting new "additions" to your families as well as sharing in the sad moments when you have lost your treasured companions. I have loved all the stories shared when you come in to shop or just to stop by and visit!
Not only have you been my customers but many have become friends. ❤️
So many of you have been with me since my first store opening in the middle of the pandemic in July 2020 and at this new location that opened July 2021! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support of my small business. It's been a memorable chapter in my life. I may keep this page going for a while with tips, product news, Rocco & Sebastians adventures.... until I decide the next chapter in life!

Our story....

my little dog & co. all started with a new addition to our family....a little feisty Cairn Terrier pup, known as Rocco. Then we had another addition to our family! Our Havanese pup we named Sebastian. With little dogs come many accessory needs such as sweaters, pj’s, rain gear, bandanas, toys, beds and the list goes on! Big dogs have apparel and accessory needs too!

I quickly discovered it was a challenge finding quality goods made in the USA. I wanted items produced by companies that were socially responsible, eco-friendly and cared about our four legged companions just as much as we all do! We wanted to be a local resource providing a wide variety of products under one roof for all size dogs and cats as well!

Our on-line store will be active in 2020, the site is currently being designed. We can’t wait until the site is ready and until then please email me or message me if you have questions and if you would like to place an order! Our email is [email protected].
