January has been full of fresh grooms, wagging tails, and the sweetest pups! I feel so blessed to have such adorable clients kicking off the new year with me. Here’s a little photo dump of some of the cuties I had the pleasure of grooming this month! 💕

Feyra and Scooby the huskies got all spruced up just in time for the holidays! Their bath left my grooming van looking like a snowstorm hit—it was a full-on white Christmas with all the fur flying around. These two fluffy snow machines are ready to shine for the season!

✨ Today was a special day at Profound Hound Mobile Grooming! ✨

I had the pleasure of meeting two incredible pups for their first grooming session with me. Piper, the sweet Beagle, was rescued from a lab, and Peyton, the gentle Poodle mix, is an old man who is both blind and deaf. Despite their different journeys, both pups were absolute stars during their spa day. 🐾

It was an honor to pamper these two and make them feel their best. Welcome to the Profound Hound family, Piper and Peyton! 💖

🎉 Happy National Yorkie Day! 🐾 Today, we celebrate the pint-sized pups with the hearts of giants – Yorkshire Terriers! Did you know that Yorkies originated in 19th-century England, where they were prized as rat hunters in textile mills? Despite their small stature, these feisty companions quickly became cherished lapdogs for Victorian high society.
With their luxurious coats and spunky personalities, Yorkshire Terriers have captured the hearts of dog lovers worldwide. Fun fact: Yorkies were originally larger than they are today, but through careful breeding, they were miniaturized to become the beloved toy breed we know and love.

Remember, the summer heat can be tough on them, so keep plenty of cool water on hand and find shady spots for relaxation. When the fireworks start, create a cozy retreat indoors with some calming tunes and maybe a favorite toy or two. And hey, don't forget those ID tags and microchips—just in case they decide to explore a bit too far in all the excitement! Oh, and keep an eye out for those tempting glow sticks and BBQ scraps; they might look fun, but they're not great for our four-legged pals.
