SO many people ask me what the main reasons for me feeding raw to my giant breed dogs are, two main reasons: its healthier and it helps protect their kidney function! Dry kibble is very low moisture and can cause their kidneys to work excessively. Also the high amount of carbs in kibble (which are just as plentiful in canned food) can cause serious harm to kidneys. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is mostly caused by the kibble that are fed to dogs and is a huge concern when it comes to the amount of pets diagnosed with CKD. If your vet recommends a special diet for their kidney health and it is still a dry kibble its important to keep in mind that a lot of the time it can cause more aggravated problem. If you do feed kibble diets make sure they get moisture elsewhere whether its adding water to their dry kibble or making sure they drink lots of fresh water with every meal!

The pets were happy today, an awesome dinner for all my fur babies ❤️ I also want to brag about my Scooby. He stopped a man speed walking towards me while I was too focused on my phone. While outside giving a potty break for the pups he got my attention and scared him enough to stop the man from getting to me before I noticed him. Once I noticed the man turned around and hovered in the parking lot until I went inside with both dogs. It's in these moments that I realize that this is why I do what I do, my main focus is on dogs because they're an amazing companion and especially if you live in a rougher neighborhood as a single mom they're also the best protectors. Hug you babies tonight knowing they're your partners in crime and even if they act like the sweetest things remember that they will protect who they love with everything they have ❤️

This video has many great points (some aren't explained well, but the point is there!). The one fact I really want to point out is the free feeding fact. Anyone free feed? And if you do, why? Free feeding *can* be fine in some situations but majority can be detrimental to your pets health!

Started a new job so I've been MIA from posting BUT am still working on pet treats like crazy! I thought it's been a while so I thought I'd post my pets dinner the other day. Happy Victoria day weekend everyone!! I might have been off the grid online but thats only because of new recipes I've been trying and perfecting!! Now a weekend to relax and enjoy with the family! I hope everyone has a relaxing weekend and heres to a hopefully not locked down summer!!

A kitchen full of taste testers for some more new recipes 😍 I have always been so picky on how my kids eat and its rubbed off onto the dogs too! I strive so make treats that can be eaten by humans too. As a mom I've been my boys eat a few dog treats on accident, so might as well make them good for them too ❤

Bowl full of raw goodness for a pups!! Being on a raw diet doesn't mean you don't add in fruits or veggies, then theres the grain. Often overlooked, adding proper grain to your furbaby's diet help prevent DCM and joint problems and are an essential part of your pets diet (keeping in mind that, as with humans, not all grains are healthy and you want grains that aren't as processed as grains like white rice).

Happy Monday!! Heres to a new week with a new training method I'm trying out as well as a new recipe I made for dog treats that shall be teated by my trusted side kicks!! There are some new things I'm looking into that make me so excited to see what the next few months will bring more for people and their fur babies diet and training!! Thank you all so far for liking my page and helping my new business take off the way it has and I'm hoping I can bring more to this page asap for all your furbabies 🐶

If you ever have issues with a dogs behaviour the best thing you can give them is help and patience when getting through those situations!! If it's extreme enough then a trainer is needed, otherwise you can just get a consult and take their advice and learn to read you dogs body language 😊

With Ontario's stay-at-home order in place socialization with dogs (especially puppies) is next to impossible. Take this time to tune up your training or work on different commands! It keeps them learning and keeps you home and out of public spaces. Here's hoping this is the last stay-at-home order we'll need!!

Springtime is here, which means the bugs are back!! If you're like me and you're patiently waiting for flea and tick treatment at the next vet appointment try adding diatomaceous earth! It helps keep the pests at bay and won't cost you your soul! For the whole summer, flea and tick treatment is much needed, but short term diatomaceous earth works wonders!

What is most kibble made from? Well all kibble is mostly filler. This was taken off of google and does a decent job at showing whats in your average kibble. I'm a huge raw advocate but I am also realistic as to whats more sustainable in some families and budgets. High quality kibble will have more of the stuff dogs need vs mid and low quality where it's mostly filler. If you need help finding a good quality kibble that fits your pet's needs and you're budget I'm only a dm away

A quick peek at what I feed my lovely doggos!! Pure duck with triacta and sea kelp mixed in, an egg, 2 sardines, plain greek yogurt, dried beef liver, and my little frozen treat made with goats milk and BCR super green mix!

After adopting a Great Dane (Scooby Duke) I really started getting interested on how to help your furry family member thrive at home via nutrition and how to deal with behavioural issues properly. I got a job at a pet store and learned a lot quickly and continued my education by studying pet nutrition and enrolling in a canine specialist program in Stratford! Now I have 2 Great Danes and a few little cats who are thriving off of a raw diet (which I've taken a special interest in) and am excited to share my knowledge with different dog and cat owners and to help them learn how to help any concerns to do with diet or behavior! 🐶
