Thanks to everyone giving positive messages! It seems like there everyone agrees it’s a great plan! I just need your help! Message 4 of your friends (we all know at least 4 doggie people) with the link to the GoFundMe page with a short message saying how you think this is a great idea and how they could use it! £1, £2, £5. I’m going to be making some A4 posters up shortly. Are/can people post in places of work to gain interest and support? Also off the the vets next week to see if they can offer some support!

If we can get some traction on funding and interest I can also start to look at lottery funding also. But this is a little down the road!

The first major milestone, and it is huge is to raise £25k to purchase the land. Then the work can really commence.

Longer term the plan is to manage the park by a committee or trust to ensure the park remains part of the community.

Plans so far based on the plot available. Having drawn up some rough plans (if you are an architect or can do drawings and want to assist shout up!), An enclosed free run area available for dogs that are not socialised with others and can be allowed to run free without risk. An enclosed agility area available for use for training and stimulation and an area of woodland to create a woodland walk with a stream area for paddling.

There is established woodland onsite and the stream. Good access to the site and its in great location for driving to.

How to raise the target?

1. 4 of my friends dontate £1.33p (the 33p covers the admin and card fees for the crowdfunding).
2. Share to their profile and get 4 of their friends do the same and share.
3. 4 of their friends also do the same...
4. Repeat a further 6 times to smash the target!

Those of you that know me understand I lost my boy Remus in November. He was a huge part of my life and wasn't without issues. That said, he brought huge amounts of happiness and I am blessed his 'Sister', Hera, is still with me. I'd like to give something back in a huge way.
