MEET MAGIC MIKE!! He doesn’t get to join the Kitty Krew for AT LEAST a few weeks. He’s already undergone a big surgery at ACCT PHILLY and needs another in a couple of weeks.

WHY?? Because some A$$hat thought it was okay to SHOOT him with a BB GUN. THIS MAKES ME SICK.

Luckily, a Good Samaritan found him, clearly injured and in need of help. ACCT was able to take care of the infection and neuter him but his abdominal stitches tore and loosed some of his innards.

We scooped Magic Mike and immediately brought him to Center City Vet for an examination, consultation, and game plan.

Magic Mike will need lots of Rest and Quiet, Pain Meds and Antibiotics, and a close, watchful eye at all times in case of complications.

He’s settled in for the night. 💜 He’s earned it!

We’re in desperate need of funds for his surgery as well as making sure he has fresh clean wee pads and freshly washed bedding, and his meds leading up to his surgery!

We’ll be adding a Thrifty Kitty table/area to our Open House Caturdays! Keep on Donating to help us raise Funds for the Kittys!!

I have always said that “A cat chooses you, you don’t choose a cat. Your cat chose you before you were even looking.” I have seen this many times and it is very special to witness.

Felix is a very sweet and gentle boy that everyone loves and adores. A chain of events that started from our POV two weeks ago culminated with his Kitty Meet this afternoon! Felix perked up and just knew his Person made it to him! He was everything Felix is, but times 100 for his Person!

One of the best parts? Felix has yet to be “officially” added to our Adoptable List. The wheels for this union were already rolling! I will absolutely be crying with joy when he leaves to begin his new life!! 💜

SHOPPING SPREE!! We ran into the PetSmart for some necessities (this will last about 10 days!!) and managed to get cart out of the store, through the hallway (?) to the parking garage (btw they use a phone app now!) and down the ramp to the car without losing anything! (And yes, that’s the only cart they had!) WE DID IT!! 😹
