Project K-9 Hero is a great non-profit that helps cover the medical bills for retired working dogs cover; once retired and adopted these bills are at the expense of their owner or handlers who adopt them. Dr. Chan made many working dog friends during her brief time working for NBVC Veterinary Treatment Facility and has a soft spot for police and military working dogs.

In loving memory of Snuggles:
Snuggles left us last Friday, March 21, 2025, and she lived a very long great life. Snuggles was 20 years & 8 months old. We got her from the North Georgia Humane Society when she was 6 weeks old. Everyone would comment on what a beautiful cat she was and Snuggles was a beautiful gray tabby with stunning green eyes. My son is now 32, and we got her when he was 11 years old on his 1st day of 5th grade! Snuggles gave our family a lot of love, joy and companionship. We miss her so much, but Snuggles will always win our hearts.😻🙏🏻❤️

In loving memory of Delilah:

Our sweet angel Delilah crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully 1/27/25. She loved swimming in the pool catching tennis balls, laying on the lounge in the evenings, and her family, and we loved her so much. She will be so missed by all of us. Thank you to Dr. Chan and Peaceful Paws for the easiest transition we could have asked for .❤️💔

In Loving Memory of Chloe:
Our sweet, loving, caring, Chloe crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday 2-21-24. Chloe was a beautiful 15 years old yellow lab that came to us when she was only 7 weeks old. Chloe wasn’t your typical yellow Lab, she happened to be a Dudley, which meant that she didn’t have pigmentation on her nose, muzzle, paw pads and eye rims, it made her even more unique. She was my shadow, and I loved that no matter where I went in the house she followed me. She was loving, warm, and always had to be where the humans were. She became the big sister to our rescue Leia and our silver Lab Sterling, and as such she was a great big sister. Our hearts are broken that she is no longer with us, but we are also at peace that Chloe is now in Heaven playing with her other sisters Shayla and Vader, and no longer suffering. Till I see you again my sweet girl.
