Please say hello and welcome Elly, rescue # 4092. Elly was one of more than SEVENTY, that's right SEVENTY dogs rescued from a hoarding case in Northern California. She is being fostered on the California Coast in Los Gatos, CA. All of our dogs require 21 day hold to observe for health and/or behavior issues. Plus she needs a lot of socialization.

Available for adoption in Oakland Park, FL - Laramie is an 18 month old puppy. He loves to play and chew his chew toys and plays very well with other dogs. He is very friendly, knows sit, lay down and shake. He is crate trained and decent on a leash.
Laramie is neutered, current on immunizations and house broken. He is a Husky/Border Collie and ready for his forever home.
Laramie loves to talk! He can have a long conversation with you. He would be perfect to come home to after a long day and discuss how your day went!
He also loves to run in the backyard and chase anything he finds there. He really has the perfect personality.

It was one of the worst moments of my professional career. During a supervised play session in a group class, the buckles on two dogs’ collars got stuck together. Being attached at the neck caused both of these sweet social dogs to freak out. (That’s a better description than any technical term....

Please welcome our newest rescue, K-9 Mack. Mack is a Belgian Malinois that comes to us all the way from Front Street Animal Shelter - City of Sacramento, where he went by the name Ken. Mack was taken in as a stray and was not claimed. With Mack being stressed in the kennel environment and the shelter beginning to fill up, the awesome shelter volunteers, especially Laila Adora, went the extra mile to get him tested for our program and flown across the country. Mack has been settling in very well over the past few days and is showing all the signs that he will excel in his new career as a police canine! We are proud to announce the certification of K9 Anna and K9 Benning handled by Sheriff's Officer Justin Nielsen. Special thanks to the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office K9 Trainer Kevin Mastroserio, Trainer Jeff Bell and Officer Tracey Miello for their expertise to the certify of these teams. K9 Anna, 1.5 year old female German Shepherd began narcotics (non-marijuana) training on 9/26 and was certified on 11/17. She was nmed after Anna Nae Hays, the first female commisioned officer in the US Army promoted to the rank of General. She is the first female K9 to be entered into service at SCSO!
K9 Benning, a 4.5 year old male German Shepherd began training on 9/26 and was certified in explosives on 11/17 and tracking on 12/2. He is named after the US Army installation, Fort Benning located in Georgia. K9 Benning is the first German Shepherd at SCSO trained in tracking without apprehension. We are so excited to have these amazing teams join our phenominal unit enhncing the public safety for our residents!
