Gingerbread is a 4-year-old pit mix with beautiful coloring. The photos really don't do her justice. She is crate trained, house trained, a pro on road trips, playful with well-adjusted dogs and puppies, and LOVES people. She is a Velcro dog and sticks close. She has a good recall and is trustworthy off leash. While she is a house dog she loves being outside. She is a soft, happy dog, who is eager to please. She is a very devoted and loving dog who wants connection. Gingerbread needs to run and play every day, but she is also content to lay around and chew on toys. She is 90% the perfect dog.

The other 10% isn’t horrible, but something to be aware of. Typical for her breed she does have some prey drive and likes to chase. She will chase cats, deer, or anything that runs. She ignores the horses & cows but does get excited if they are running or dancing around. Luckily Gingerbread is wants to please and it is easy to call her back to you if you catch her before she starts to run. Also, typical for her breed she does have some itchy skin/allergy/stomach issues. Those currently managed pretty well with a healthy diet and a little medication.

PRINCESS is a soul like that. We do not know her past, but she is a bit cautious meeting new people. She needs to know you are there for her - and then she will jump in with four paws.

Although DUKE'S surgery went well, we are having him see the oncologist, Dr. Couto, to make sure he's good. But we have high hopes!

Duke's foster family reports that he is settling in more each day and doing really great! If you're familiar with German shorthairs, you know they are an energetic breed ready to RUN! Duke would love to find a family who can match his adventurous spirit!

We've had a couple applications for Mr. Cooper, but none were quite the perfect fit he is looking for.

Cooper would love a mellow home with a frequent lap and lots of snuggling! He is a real "people dog;" he wants to be where YOU are.

He's so sweet and loving and has ADORABLE bouncy little ears! We are incredibly grateful for a phone call from Bend Veterinary Clinic when someone was wanting to put this sweet senior to sleep, and grateful that the attending vet advised her to contact us.

Cooper is an angel with lots of time to go. He just needs to find a silver lining!

ROCKET and CHAVEY are 8 and 9 years, altered, utd, dentals and bloodwork done... No cats plz, but they are good with kiddos and other dogs. They are $400 together.

We have three precious little ladies looking for fosters homes...

TOOTSIE is a 14 year old Havanese who's mom was diagnosed with dementia. She's friendly with people and other animals.

DREAMER is a 15 year old pekinese/poodle whose family has grown and is too active for her. She's good with kids, cats, and other dogs.

PRINCESS is a 9 year old shih tzu. She needs a home that is patient while she learns to trust, and probably no other animals.

Everyone is altered and utd.

We provide everything - you just provide a soft landing place!
