Hi everyone and welcome to our page ❤️

I would like to introduce to you the two very gorgeous girls who helped turned Huntson Ridge- Australian Shepherd from a dream into a reality.

Chance 🐶 and Red Ruby 🐶

We have had a rollercoaster of a road getting to here with major ups and downs but that's just how life goes.

My dream of having an Australian Shepherd stared about 5 years ago. The waiting lists in New Zealand were unbelievably long and I really thought it wouldn't be possible for awhile but I was determined to have my dream dog join our family. After 2 years of searching and begging I finally found the most amazing breeder from Australia and she helped me import Chance into NZ and back to our home. She also gave me the opportunity to breed from Chance so that I could help other people in the same position be able to have a Australian shepherd without having to import.

Chance was everything I dreamed plus more. She was incredibly smart, brave, funny, rambunctious and so sooo much fun.
Chance made our lives better by just being around.

When Chance turned two we started looking into finding her a boyfriend and doing all her testing but I still didn't feel she was ready to be a mum. Slowing down wasn't in her nature

Unfortunately Chance passed away in February 2022. It broke our hearts 💔 and it broke my spirit.

Through my journey to finding Chance and learning about Australian Shepherds, I have been lucky enough to meet alot of really awesome people along the way and now regard them as friends and family. One amazing lady in particular became my family and my mentor.
She was kind enough to offer me the opportunity to have another baby fluffer and that's how little 'Ru' joined our family.

We would like to invite you to join our journey and adventures and watch our little Red Ru grow
