Bubs and Lucy are our OG Fuzzy Friends dachshunds. They’ve been coming to us since we started in 2022 and despite being in suburban territory now, they still get to enjoy city life with us when mom goes on vacation. We just adore these two wieners.

We’re so happy to have the famous .and.hero in our daycare this weekend! Kuma is a teddy bear breed and Hero is a poodle/bichon (poochon) mix! They’re so adorable and we’re excited for their adventures at Fuzzy Friends.

Our daycare cattledog, Zorro just had a birthday and of course, we had to celebrate it in Fuzzy Friends fashion! We quickly found out he doesn’t like party hats, but he did his best to smile for us with one on 😛

We’ve come a long way from our humble beginnings in our apartment in Avondale. We want to continue offering the most high quality services in our house in Kilbourn Park, while also looking to expand in other cities of the United States. The home care concept is a rare and beautiful one for our pets, and here at Fuzzy Friends, we vow to host your furbabies in a warm and happy house at all times, even when we open another location hundreds of miles away. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen little Pirat (Pee-rat, also known as Pirate). If you’re wondering why he has that name, he has a little paw implant after an attack he survived. He is 14 years old and still has a lot of pep in his step.

Pirat is super smart and understands both English and Polish! We’re happy he’s been having a good time.

For those who are new here, Percy and Adler’s moms are good friends but the two pups live far from each other and didn’t meet for the first time until they were both boarded at the same time at Fuzzy Friends!

Well it looks like fate brought them back together for a third time and boy are they snugglier than ever 💕

Everybody knows and loves our longtime daycare poodle, Brodie at Fuzzy Friends! Well, he is with us for two weeks while his very cool dad is in 🇮🇹. We’re happy Brodie gets a well-deserved vacation too 💕

Say hello to little Richard! Richard is a 6 month old chihuahua that comes to us from Canada 🇨🇦 He just moved to the Kilbourn Park area here in Chicago and we couldn’t be happier to have him as a neighbor and daycare regular. We can’t wait to watch him grow and make new friends!

Ollie wants to remind everyone to keep your Fuzzy Friends hydrated this summer. Avoid long exposure to the sun and keep walks at a minimum when it’s hot outside! Not only can long walks put your dogs at risk of heat stroke, but it can also hurt their paw pads!

2017-2024

We just got some heartbreaking news: one of our Fuzzy Friends, Bentley, unexpectedly crossed the rainbow bridge last week. He and his brother, Jackson were some of the first pups we cared for. Bentley in particular, was a spunky little yorkie with a heart and personality bigger than his tiny body. He loved a good shoulder to lean against; a window to look out of and a bed to snuggle in with you at night.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tayler, Andy and their little one Michael during this difficult time.

We’ll miss you so much Bentley.

Dear current and future Fuzzy Friends clients:

Here at Fuzzy Friends, we work nonstop to make sure your dogs have a happy and pleasant time with us. Because we want to continue providing quality services to you and your dogs, we have made the decision to close on Sundays starting July 20th.

This will only apply to daycare and NOT boarding. There will also be no drivers available to pick up and drop off on Sunday either. Everybody will be taking a well deserved day off to relax and spend time with family, which are very important things in life!

We are sorry if this causes any inconvenience and hope you’ll understand 🐾💕
