Howdy everybody! I just got home from putting the birds back in their pens after the bluebonnet Classic! We took most unique in the backyard show with Pooky, the mille fleur sizzle from Missouri! He definitely earned his medal, even if Howard Davenport says he looks like a hedgehog! I am very thankful for the club and their smoothly ran show! I guarded the chickens all last night, and I clerked for the wonderful Bill Hopkins for a good chunk of the day, and I’m about to get a well deserved rest! But before I do, if I haven’t told y’all, I’m about to temporarily stop showing and breeding chickens. I am about to take on responsibilities that are going to take a lot of time out of my social life and my chicken life, so the smart move is to liquidate the flock. Don’t worry, I plan on using my knowledge I’ve gained over the past 5 years to come back after I get the career of my dreams to restart in the chicken world. I bid you all adieu. Thank you for all of the support, and thank you for sharing your knowledge with a simple guy who loves chickens.
