We helped this little guy find a rescue so we took off this morning at 5:30 to catch transport to his future. Such a sweet little guest at the Farm and Field Inn ☺️.
Hope he gives us a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review

Watching my daughter grow up and learn to ride on the first horse I raised as a foal and trained solo is absolutely the best. Rally will be 22 this coming spring and I thank God each day for her. What a gift she has been to us.

Connection and communication are key components to predictable companionship. What is a predictable companionship and how do we achieve it?
A predictable companionship is a relationship dynamic characterized by consistency, reliability, and emotional safety. We build these types of relationships with our animals-humans too- to improve communication, trust, and security. When we have these components training/teaching becomes much more effective and long lasting. From a psychological standpoint the best learning happens when the brain feels safe. Safety cannot be achieved when you do not have a predictable companionship.
How to achieve predictable companionship? Stay tuned as I will begin to post different training tips in the coming weeks!

🐴 SANCTUARY UNDER WATER
Fall and winter. It's always the worst part of the year for my heart. While we have made great progress on the new shelters, there are two that desperately need upgrades. While Shonee and Liebchen have A very well drained pasture which allows them to get safe exercise during the muddy fall and winter months, their stall continues to fill with water. I have the barrier to put down so we can get gravel in there but we need gravel.
I will be having back surgery on the 18th of this month. I have been putting that off for almost a year and I just have to get it done before more damage is done. I have about two weeks to finish this project.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
We want to order from Kitsap Topsoil as they are the closest.
We need to raise $700.00 for 12 yards. The other repairs and upgrades I can get figured out.
Winter donations mean the most as this is the hardest season to keep Happy and healthy horses... especially senior horses. The winters are hard on them.
No amount is ever too small as we are trying to keep up with everything.
We still need Timothy pellets and triple crown senior for Tawa, Whiskey, Breeze, Charlie, Shonnee, Liebchen, Dee and Tziuni.

Back in 2009 we started a rescue Project Buddy Alumni where we rescued 200+ dogs in just 6 years. We took in a lot of hard cases, rehabilitated, and rehomed. This was Ryker. Not only did this poor guy have demodex mange and kennel cough but he had parvo as well. With round the clock care from his foster, vet care, and a holistic approach to treat parvo he survived. Odds were against him but he bloomed into an amazing dog and eventually found his family. I often think about the dogs from PBR and I am sure most have since passed. But they truly made a huge impact on me and took a little piece of my heart with every goodbye.

The things I learned because of them was a true gift.
