One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is getting to build a bond with your dogs. It's also one of the most difficult when it's time for one of our pack to move on. I'm dedicating today's post to Thor, as it was his last hike with us before he moves on with his family. Your rambunctious energy and screams of excitement will be greatly missed. Happy trails and wiggly tails, my little buddy!

Mr. Freddie Mercury won the doggy lottery on Thursday when he found an abandoned tennis ball on our hike. Yes, I let him carry it as long as he could lol The others didn't mind one bit!

Jefferson’s snuggles

This is too wholesome not to share. I’ve discovered a quirk about Jefferson over the last few months. About 5 or 6 times every hike, Jefferson will stand directly in front of or next to my legs and not continue on the hike until he receives an ample amount of hugs, rubs and snuggles. He’s definitely with the right hiker, because I will gladly stop a hike for love anytime! ❤️ Featuring Jefferson ❤️
