We’re testing a new container this week. The compostable plastic isn’t getting properly regenerated so we’re seeking a better, reusable solution instead. This new container is BPA free, food safe, dishwasher safe, and recyclable when it’s seen enough use. We hope it fits the bill!

Why do some of the sunflowers have yellow spots? It’s from the seed head! Some sunnys are stubborn and have a hard time letting go of the shell of the seed. Just before Sunnys get light they are a bright yellow color. As soon as they get light they turn green. So, the spots that are yellow are the areas that didn’t get to see the light due to the seed shell. 🌱💚🙌

Quick walkthrough of our upgraded digs! We'll post an update in a few weeks with it full of greens and lights blazing. Over 900 heads of lettuce and 128 trays of microgreens can be grown in our "barn". All LED lighting and very efficient heat pump systems keep us as kind to the environment as we can. We hope to be solar offset in the future as well. We're looking forward to serving more households soon!
