Have you ever wondered what your dog is saying or thinking? Well wonder no more! An annual vaccine is launching for dogs and their owners later this month; a once a year dose to both the human and the dog, will allow you and your dog to be telepathic to each other - you will both be able to hear and understand each other’s thoughts! 🐶 🔮💆🏼♀️ 🤡

We’re so grateful for our amazing technicians, but all our staff too! 🐶 ❤️ 🐈 Although this week was designed to celebrate veterinary technicians, we take it as an opportunity to celebrate ALL veterinary support staff. Our very own receptionist, Amanda Kallay suffered a life threatening gun shot wound the weekend of September 4th. After a welfare check done by the Oakley Police Department, she was helicoptered to the John Muir Trauma Unit to fight for her life.
Amanda is a wonderfully kind and gentle person who has dedicated her career to helping animals in need as a veterinary professional.
We’re looking to help raise funds for her as we’re certain once she heals from this life altering experience and is released, there will be bills, ongoing medical expenses, and a new life to build.
We thank everyone for their support of Amanda; she has a long road of recovery ahead of her and thanks to your generosity it will be a bit easier. https://www.gofundme.com/f/amanda-kallay

She is also serving as VCA Student Ambassador for her class. Congratulations Maia and we’re so happy for all your success!! 🥳 🐶 🐈 ❤️ #94531

Dear Valued Clients,
As many of you know, there is a national Veterinarian and Veterinary Technician shortage resulting in many offices, including ours, having to shorten business hours. We will be temporarily changing our hours until further notice beginning June 19th, our Deer Valley office will be open Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm and Sundays 8am-5pm for limited services.
Sundays: We will not have a veterinarian on premise but will be open for boarding, grooming and medication/diet pick-ups. Controlled drugs can NOT be dispensed/picked up and NO medical services can be provided due to not having a veterinarian on premise. Our phones will be off and all communication will be completed through text message. When you arrive, please park in the front of our building and text our main number at (925)757-2800 and a staff member will assist you.
We do appreciate your patience and understanding as we all try to navigate these circumstances.
Kind Regards,
Antioch Veterinary Hospital
