What a fun day of Mondio after a fair amount of chaos pre-trial! Congratulations to all competitors, and our sincerest thanks for braving the cold to support us again. Special thanks to Don and Donna our extraordinary judging duo, to Tony and Kellen our trial decoys for working dogs safely and fairly, to Paul for quite literally putting his body on the line during trial prep, and to Genesis Mondioring for pitching in as much needed field help! It takes a village always, and we are thankful to have y'all in our corner. Until next time, happy and safe training!!

UPDATE: A last minute Mondio miracle!! A BIG BIG thank you to Kellen Freeman for volunteering to drive down and decoy the 2s and 3s for us tomorrow! It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful. The show must go on!

Unfortunately Paul sustained an injury during training today that will preclude him from decoying in this weekend's trial. So in true Mondio fashion, we shall pivot! The level 1s will continue as scheduled tomorrow with one decoy as permitted by the rules, and we will offer a mock trial opportunity to those in the upper levels as we have a second training decoy available. Day of entries will be accepted for the mock trial. We appreciate everyone's understanding and wish Paul the speediest of healing!!

Us staring down the prospect of a snowy trial until it runs away: 😛😄

They don't call us Fearless for nothing 😉 Our trial this coming weekend is ON and as an added bonus, it's looking like the weather might actually be pretty warm (for February)! Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Get ready for the first Fearless event of the year! The great Fernando Dosta is returning to NJ February 6th-10th. Will it be cold? Yes. Will it be a lot more fun to train dogs with cool people than think about how much longer we have to wait til spring? Also yes. So come beat the winter blues with us!

Wow what a week! We will be recovering for a bit before kicking off the next event, but first a HUGE thank you to judge Mahogany Gamble for her challenging and fair programs as well as the lovely, safe, and at times downright creepy decoy work of Paul Salveson and Tony Sagstetter (sorry it wouldn't let me tag!), the latter of whom will be starring in many a nightmare involving his object guard pass. 😱 A special thank you to Kellen Freeman for stepping in last minute to allow Paul to show his own dog in the 3s. Decoys are the backbone of this sport and often decoy handlers are forced to take a backseat so we always appreciate when the community steps up to make it happen!

To all competitors, thank you for showing with us! Thank you for your camaraderie, displaying your hard work and wonderful teamwork, and pitching in to help whenever and wherever you could. Trials are a lot of effort, but it's well worth it when people can come together like this and makes for a wonderful few days of Mondio!

Til next year 🫡🎃
