A quick little snippet into creating this Sugar Plum Princess 👑
This sweet little lady is perched upon her steed that plays the tune "Sugar Plum Fairy" while spinning her around. There was some repair work needed on the unicorn so I sculpted new hooves and painted them to color match. I taxidermied the mouse and gave her a crown and scepter thanks to everyone's feedback.
This Princess will be available for adoption at @hopsandshops.sc on August 11th at @newbrooklandtavern from 12-4pm ~ mark your calendars!

This vintage bug display had definitely seen better days and seemed to have suffered some water damage. A lot of the insects needed cleaning and a good bit of repair along with the frame needing some serious TLC. Without compromising the integrity of the bugs, labels or frames -- I repaired everything as much as possible while trying to keep a hint of vintage charm. I personally always love keeping some aspects of the damage so that it can be ~perfectly imperfect~ so I kept the original water stained backing and labels.
I got to send this back to my bestie @transcendedtrinkets for their new home a *million* miles away. I miss you so much but I hope you could feel the love I sent your way

Ever have those days where it feels like nothing goes quite right? Yesterday was one of those days... it felt like every butterfly I pinned just wanted to fight me. I received some incredibly sad news of a friend's passing while pinning and had to stop. If there's anything I gained from being around the light of @rajkarot, it's to continue bringing positivity and love to everyone and everything. It's interesting...in many cultures, seeing a butterfly is a symbol of the soul of the deceased or a rebirth -- these butterflies are for you, Raj. 🦋
