Chris our Pontefract & Wakefield franchisee has been with us 2 years this week, and we’d like to wish him a very happy 2nd anniversary with Pets 2 Places

So busy over in MK, we do not have any time slots for the next 2 weeks

We do need people across the UK but these are the areas we need franchisees the most

Looking to start a new career? something for yourself? be your own boss or just want to work with animals?

I am looking for a franchisee for the MK business
What I'm looking for;

- Someone who loves pets
- Someone who loves helping people
- Has to be over 25 due to our insurance
- Must have driving licence
- Can work on own common sense
- Doesn't mind early starts or late finishes on occasions
- must live in Milton Keynes

Don't worry if;
- You've never worked with animals before
- you've never run your own business before
- anything else you may be worried about

The joining process;
- Looking for someone to start part time in around 2 months
- Will need to shadow me for at least 3 months
- Will be on an intense training and learning programme for 6 months to become an important part of the growth of Pets 2 Places
- Will be ready to take over the MK franchise full time as the official new MK franchisee by end of March 2026
- You will need to purchase a car at this point

Can you help Manchester and Cheshire's desperate pet owners?

Every week, pet owners in Manchester and Cheshire are left stranded, unable to get their pets to essential appointments such as vet visits, grooming sessions, or kennels.

Claire Harris, who runs Pets 2 Places Ltd, a dedicated pet taxi service, says calls come in daily from desperate owners searching for a way to get their animals where they need to be and she is trying to find someone who can help by setting up a pet taxi service for them.

Claire has drivers in Milton Keynes, Pontefract & Wakefield but has yet to find someone to take care of the pet parents of the North West.

She said: "People in Cheshire and Manchester love their pets and it'sheartbreaking that we can't help them yet.

"Our requests rang from sick pets needing to see the vet, to nervous animals heading to the groomers, to owners who are housebound and can't get their companions to where they need to be.

"They're turning to turning to Google in search of help and finding ourwebsite but we have to tell them that we can't support them as we don't have a driver in their area."

Pets 2 Places has been running for over a decade, offering a safe,
caring way to transport pets to appointments and even between separated pet owners' homes.

Claire is now on a mission to find someone special to run a local
franchise and meet the urgent need in Manchester and Cheshire.

They will be given all the support they need to ensure the new business is a success and connected with the customers already waiting for what they offer.

She said: "They must love animals, be willing to invest in the right
vehicle, and kindness, caring and compassion are the key qualities I
look for in a franchisee.

"Someone who doesn't believe going above and beyond is going above and beyond, that's just what good customer service is.

"It's a fantastic opportunity for someone to start a business with a
customer base already in place."

I am looking for a franchisee for the Milton Keynes franchise

This is not an employee position but an investment opportunity

I have spent 11 years building the business, there is a great customer base here, with excellent repeat business rates

I know this is going to take months to find the right person so I'm putting this out there now

With the growth of the franchise and the launch of a pet transport product next year

I do not have the time to continue running the MK franchise

I will be looking to take a complete step away in the next t 12 months but want the new person to shadow me for months
