She is the runt of her litter
We have named her charm ✨️
She was born with her paw deformed and although mumma was tryna do best by her she was starting to lick and chew off the poor baby's leg 😫😓
We have had to take baby away from mumma for the well-being of charm.
This girl will need an amputation and will need further investigation via xray amd ultrasounds to check for any health deformities
She is currently on antibiotics and pain relief
And being bottle fed ever few hours
But we need your help !
And unfortunately amputation isn't cheap 😕
She has been seen by my lonas amd O’Callaghan veterinary clinic and was placed on a 7 day antibiotics course twice a day and a bedidine wash several times a day

She is incredibly timid and so so scared she's a little thinner then we would like but luckily she is food motivated
A few hours spent with her this morning and she's already best friends with our founder following her around !
She is now learning to trust men a slow progress indeed

This video sums it all up, this is why we do rescue, why we get up everyday to do rescue even though it can be exhausting! To see pups like yogi smile and be happy it the best thing we could ever wish for ❤️❤️❤️
Our sweet girl Athena R.I.P 😰💔
She was found this morning by one of our carers while on their way to the vets with one of our doggos
He witnessed her get run over and watch so ma y other cars drive over her while she laid their screaming in pain
By the time he was able to retrieve her she was in so much pain and shock she was gasping for air in pain
We got her straight to the vet and on some heavy pain relief to help her
We wanted to save this poor girl !
We completed an xray which showed that Athena's future may not be bright
She had 6 broken ribs , a punctured lung and a shattered pelvis
Before we had a chance to do anything at all our poor girl had a seizure and passed away 💔
We are so so sad her life was cut short and we weren't able to save her 😢

Although she was only in care for a day we will be having her cremated becasue she is and always will be apart of the GRS family! 💓😞
Her vet bill including cremation stands at $1060.10
If anyone could please donate to help us this would be amazing we have been trying to raise funds to pay off our 3K + VET BILL but could not stand there and not help this beautiful baby girl
