Yesterday I took in a 7 week German Shepard pup, a show dog breeders reject born without a paw on her back leg. She tested positive for parvo at a pet clinic and was surrendered. No one wanted to foster her so I decided to take the baby home. I had her for only 12 hrs when she took a turn for the worse and started having massive bloody diarrhea & blood dripping from her nose. I rushed her to my regular vet, a 24 hr. Pet hospital at 4am. At noon my Vet called me to say she had labored breathing and her blood tests showed she needed a transfusion. As soon as I agreed to have that done, her heart stopped and she was gone.
My heart is broken...
Run free sweet baby girl! No more pain & suffering.
She was with me for such a short time but I had fallen in love with her.
I held her and told her I loved her so much and I am sure that she never felt human love or ever heard those words from that back yard breeder.
Rest in Peace sweet baby!💔

The dog in the photo is called Hachiko. In 1923, the Japanese citizen (Isabura) found the dog (Hachiko) in a small box inside one of the train cars he used to take daily to work...and the dog was still a little puppy. He took him and raised him in his house. Days pass and Hachiko grows up.
Isabura used to go to work every day by train, and Hachiko used to drive him to the station and wait at the station until he returned about 10 hours later! One day in the year 1925 (Isabora) had a heart attack at work and died immediately and did not return home!
Hachiko waited for his owner on the station platform for 10 years, until he too died! A statue of him was designed at the entrance to Shibuya Station in Japan, and it still stands.
Loyalty is a word heavier than mountains and longer than ropes. Its meanings are multiple: sacrifice, sincerity, gift and loyalty.
