🐾 Hey pup parents! 🐶✨ Canine Athletics will open Fall daycare and boarding applications from September 22 - September 29! If you're looking for a safe, fun, and personalized environment for your dog, you've come to the right place!

All our enrolled pups get to enjoy year-round adventures across a variety of terrains, ensuring they stay active and engaged! 🐕❤️ Both our daycare and boarding programs are fully insured. 🏆

We provide complimentary pick-up and drop-off services, whether your pup comes once, twice, three, or four times a week.

Our program emphasizes personalized attention with no more than 12 dogs per pack, ensuring your dog gets the mental and physical workout they need! ❤️🐕

We prioritize your dog's safety by starting all dogs on a **60 ft long line**. They’ll be safely leashed until they learn to return when called. There is no set timeline for this; each pup can take all the time they need to feel comfortable.

Here are a few important requirements:

✅ Must be under the care of a state-licensed veterinarian
✅ Up-to-date health and vaccination records (DHPP, Bordatella, Rabies for pups 4+ months)
✅ Males over 12 months must be neutered
✅ Year-round oral flea and tick prevention

SCACAC has been extremely overwhelmed with cats and dogs for a while now. We convinced our boss to allow reduced adoption fees on all animals until the end of SEPTEMBER!!!

Now is your chance to adopt that animal you have been wanting and take the money you saved and spend it on your new furry family members supplies or toys. All adoption fees are only $25.00! All adopted animals go home with age appropriate vaccines and spayed or neutered! We also send you home with food, toy, preventatives and a blanket for your new furry family member.

Hey Springfield friends...remember that poor scared Australian shepherd running at large along 5th/6th street for weeks? Charlene Powers Walsh with WILD Canine Rescue came through and worked her magic, got her to Sangamon County Animal Control for some xrays, spay surgery, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, and all her vaccinations. Once she was cleared by their veterinarian to go out to foster, shelter director Jeanne M Keenan messaged Canine Athletics to come pick her up for some much needed recovery time before finding her forever home 😊

Skye is between 18-24 months old. She does not seem to have much formal training, but she has not had a single accident in my home since she arrived last week. She has no problem eating in her kennel, and has been a perfect guest when left alone and loose in the house.

All herding breeds are incredibly intelligent, and Skye is no exception. This will be both a blessing and a curse 😂 She will need something to do - brain games, daycare, obedience training - or she will find something to do...like play in the middle of 6th St 🙄
