Rainy has gotten bigger and she’ll be having spay surgery later this week! We are still looking for a home for her, and her mama, Stormy. Both are very sweet and loving, but also love to play. They can be adopted separately or together.

Both would likely get along with other cats. Stormy was fine with one dog in foster who is very low key and patient. She swiped at another dog she met in foster who is a little more high energy— so, she might be picky. Rainy hissed at the patient dog, but it’s hard to take a 2lb cat seriously and she’s a kitten do she’d probably come around.

Special $250 for both, or $150 for Stormy (2 year old adult) and $175 for Rainy (3 mo kitten) includes spay, microchips, first shots (Rainy will need rabies and possibly another.)

We are on an intake hold! We will keep updating on the projects we started, but can't take on anything new at this time. Lack of funds, volunteers and space are big issues with small rescues. I'll be in touch, thank you for all your support!
As always we can use funds for TNR , hoping to get some appointments in July.

$25 to sponsor a TNR
$55 to sponsor a friendly/ pet cat spay/ neuter
Anything helps, thank you!

Who loves calicos? These sweet girls are still waiting for their forever homes.

The nice thing about adopting an adult cat is that you know the personality of the cat you are getting. Also, while kittens NEED a pal for all their energy, these particular kitties would be fine as only fur babies in the house, although they have lived with dogs and cats in the past and would likely be fine with slow introductions depending on the temperament of their new furry family members.

Lilly's (mostly white, calico tail and gray smudge on her forehead) favorite past time is to perch in her cat tree in a sunny window and secretly (or not so secretly) judge the neighbors. She has the most beautiful blue eyes. Please meet her at PetVet365 Denver/Somerset (Mississippi and Buckley in Aurora).

Saffron is a medium-long haired calico and might be the softest cat you have ever pet...and she loves being pet. She wants all the pets. She is currently fostered in Aurora, so please apply to set up a meeting.

Please apply at the link in our bio. Adoption fee is $150 each. Includes spay, microchip, deworming and vaccines including rabies.

Adopt a mom/ daughter pair, Stormy (gray) and Rainy (black). They do well with other cats and low energy dogs with slow introductions, high energy dogs are a bit too much for them.

They are a cute pair together, or could go separately. $300 for both, $175 for one includes spay surgery, microchip and first shots (Stormy has rabies, Rainy will need rabies when she is older). Please fill out the application at the link in our bio.

First off, TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY! Woooo! And while I know this is an expensive birthday present, I would very much appreciate it if we could get his dental funded, I'll post receipts when he's done 🧡

This crusty guy is Owen. He was adopted when he was approximately 6 months old. Due to no fault of his own he's back with me. I appreciate that they contacted me to pick him up. He's a love muffin tripod. When I picked him up, he definitely had a cold and we started him on antibiotics. He seemed to get better but I noticed he's getting a little matted and his snotty nose is back. We had him checked out and he's got some gnarly teeth! We got an estimate of about 600 to get his teeth and blood work done. He's not very old but coming from a colony you never know what's going to happen in the future!

Meet Saffron! She loves to be petted, and has the cutest way to ask for pets from her people(reaching out for you). She has the softest fur so complying with her request is a pleasure.

Saffron has lived with other cats and dogs, although she would prefer a home with no dogs or a dog that can ignore her.

Adoption fee $150 to cover spay, microchip and shots including rabies. Please apply at the link on our bio. Fostered in Aurora.

Pretty Lilly is still waiting for her home. Two of her former roommates where she is being fostered at PetVet365 Denver/Somerset have found their forever families, but Lilly still waits.

Look at those lovely blue eyes! She has striking calico markings on her tail.

The wonderful thing about adopting an adult cat, is you know what their personality is like when you adopt. Lilly is calm and sweet. She has lived with dogs, but would prefer not to. A calm dog that is not interested in her would be ok. Lilly has lived with other cats, but would be fine as an only pet at your house.

If you are looking for an only pet, or a kitty who has grown out of her wild kitten days, Lilly is waiting for you to visit her at PetVet365 Denver/Somerset

She is spayed, vaccinated including rabies, and has her microchip! Adoption fee $150 please apply at the link in our bio.

Everyone meet Mr. Piggy!

He's currently getting fixed and having the rest of his tail removed and the wound closed! He came home last week with no tail! It looked awful! They contacted me and asked if we could help. Then he didn't come back for two days, they were very worried about him. We took them a trap and he was caught within 24hours. He hung out with me yesterday and one of the vets we use could see him today.

We got an estimate of $300, if anyone can donate towards his surgery it would be greatly appreciated! The links to donate are in our bio!

We have so many kittens and cats for adoption. More ready soon, so if you don't see what you are looking for, please apply for more information.

Annie: 3 mo tortie girl. A transfer from a shelter where her outlook as a bottle baby orphan wasn't certain. She now identifies as part parrot sitting on your shoulder. She would love to go home with her friend, Hailey, or to a home with another playful cat. She is large dog friendly.

Hailey: 3 mo tabby BOY. Playful, friendly, adventurous guy. Would be great with his adopted sister, Annie, or with other playful cats. Also, large dog friendly.

April: 3 mo gray and white girl. Last of her litter to go home, could it be with you? Her foster describes her as a "mama's girl who loves everyone."

Gus: Adult black male. Street cat tuned into gentle house panther. Very affectionate, likes other cats, dogs and kids!

Saffron: Adult calico female. Stunning beauty and personality to match. Wants all the pets as often as she can get them. Has lived with other cats, but could be okay on her own. Takes a bit to "warm up" to dogs, but honestly would probably prefer dogs that don't show interest in her so they can ignore each other.

Needa (adult black with smoke coloring on her chest) and Lilly (adult white with gray spot on head and calico tail) are waiting to meet you at PetVet365 Denver/Somerset. They make a cute duo together or could go to different homes.

Please apply using the link in our bio. Adoption fees are $175 for one kitten, $300 for two. Includes spay/neuter surgery, first shots, rabies shots for cats older than 4 months, and a microchip.

Check out these three beautiful girls at PetVet365 Denver/Somerset (Safeway shopping center at Mississippi and Buckley in Aurora.) They are all 2-4 years old, very loving, and have lived with other cats and large dogs.

Lilly (white with a smudge on her head and calico tail) has been staying at the clinic the last couple weeks. Her previous roommate, Shimmer, was adopted few days ago. When Needa (black with smoke) saw her she instantly recognized her old friend and went into the cat tree for snuggles. They would make a wonderful duo in a home together or separately with other cats.

Their other friend, Saffron, is a stunning calico and a little more independent.

These 3 sweeties are waiting for you to meet them at PetVet365 Denver/Somerset. They are spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots including rabies. Please apply at the link on our bio. $175 adoption fee for one, $300 for a pair.

Mama Stormy (gray) and female kittens Rainy (black, available for pre-adoption as she’s smaller than others and likely won’t be ready next weekend for surgery), Annie (tortie single orphan who joined the weather girls) and Hailey (brown tabby), will be ready for adoption/pre adoption next weekend!

They are all snugglers who are good with other cats and with big dogs. They would be best adopted as a duo or in a home with other playful cats.

$175 for one or $300 for two. Includes spay surgery, microchip and first set of vaccines (the kittens are too young for rabies vaccine so you will need to do that later.). Application at the link on our bio.

Kitten found in a parking lot under a car that moved😱! The feeder found her and called me. I helped her catch a few cats a few months ago( this one is new!) We tried for over an hour to catch mom( the kittens are safe in an EVERGREEN BUSH! My arch nemesis!) so I didn't climb in there to get them. They are safe and fed and we will watch for them in the next few weeks! She's so fat and polydactyl! We named her Isa (from Dora the explorer) Stay tuned to meet everyone else! I left a trap with the caretaker and I will plan to come back with my drop trap once the kittens are eating food!

Nothing about this situation was happy. The only good thing to come out of It is our sweet little tiny tortie! I got an email from someone requesting help about their colony of cats. The first email asked me if I could take some kittens and help get adults fixed. I said sure let me find somebody to grab the Kittens. I am not available today. Second email comes back and it's more Kittens and I said sure that's not a problem. Do you know where the mom is? They are still pretty little and they should stay with Mom. I got another email back saying we found new borns and we don't know what to do with them. Are you able to help with those?! Same question, do you know where Mom is?
By the time I responded to that last email, they sent another email saying that they were taking all the kittens they could grab and one cat that they caught over to the shelter. Sure no problem, I messaged Wendy and said hey there's some newborns at this location, but they're not sure who mom is,Can you go grab them?

When she arrived she realized that they were all tangled up in the umbilical cords, and one of the kittens had already passed away. She managed to get them untangled, except for the tortie. And then she brought them to me. I managed to untangled the tortie from the deceased kitten, as I was untangling her she pooped all over my hand🤣.

We got the three kittens inside, I cleaned up their mouths, they all had fly strike, so they must have been screaming in the dirt all day. They were cold, Wendy had them on the heating desk and I got them into the incubator with a little bit of Karo syrup.
When they were warm, everybody got fed. The smallest one didn't make it to the next feeding. The other two made it through the night and the second smallest didn't make it past 12 hours. The tortie is around 85g, her tongue was dried out from screaming all day, and even though she tried to do the ni**le, we decided to switch to tube feeding for a little while to give her a break.

We gave the feeders more traps and they wanted to keep trapping the cats. We will monitor to offer assistance with trapping.

Perseverance and dedication are what will stop the cycle. We have been back to this location multiple times since the babies were found and rescued. Mom didn't like the regular traps so we set up the drop trap and trail camera, a very handy combination. Anytime I don't get good intel I put out a camera. Thank goodness for Wendy! She got to catch her tonight with the drop trap!

Don't give up. Feed on a schedule and be patient. You will outsmart the cat.

NO MOMS LEFT BEHIND! I have taken in two litters of kittens from this pretty girl. She was pregnant for her last appointment so we waited until the kittens were big enough. My lovely friend Joan was helping me fix pet cats along with doing TNR, the pets cause most of the problems for us doing TNR. They get out and either get pregnant or get other cats pregnant. Fixing pets in the long run helps to lower the TNR numbers.

We fixed 112 cats in March and 68 in April. We took in numerous kittens and fixed their moms.

We have a new fundraiser up for MAY!
$25 sponsors a TNR
$60 sponsors a pet cat, if anyone wants to sponsor this girl it would be appreciated

On Monday I was alerted to a plea for help. Momma cat never came back to her outdoor kittens. They were found the day prior and they weren't eating well. I drove to meet the finders, I was thankful they came halfway! The kittens were dehydrated and a little cold, so I started them with warmed fluids and got them onto the heating pad. I stopped at Big R and got a can of premixed formula and after they warmed up I fed them while the kids looked for bugs and played before our drive back. The first night I wasn't sure they would make it but they're doing well and have all gained about 35 g since Monday. Welcome Lamar, Winchell and Voodoo.

These guys are giving me a run for my money just like the last litter, but they are on antibiotics and so far so good.

I caught this girl in a bedroom with a net on Thursday before the migraine set in. The homeowner caught her kittens and caught her inside with the kittens. It had been a few months and she wasn't becoming nicer. She wasn't interested in getting in the trap either. A local shelter recommended that she call me for assistance and we got her fixed today as well. She will be released back outside where she will be more comfortable, cats like this should not go to the shelter. Even if it's"no kill" that doesn't mean they are equipped to socialize a feral cat and chances that they live in a kennel or under someone's bed is high. That's no life for anyone. #tnr

Another good clinic after a migraine on Friday! I couldn't have done it without my wonderful friends. They trapped when I was sick and caught a bunch of cats! We fixed 16 TNR and 4 friendly cats. Most came from a farm where sick kittens kept being found. Hopefully we trapped enough that there won't be more kittens born. We also relocated 13 cats from a local house after the caretakers moved and couldn't take them. 5 were nice enough to hopefully get adopted. 6 are going to new barn homes and two are for sure getting adopted. cats

Just another day in rescue. We're down to 3 cats at this colony. It's not been easy to catch them. The feeders found kittens. I told them to grab the kittens so I can use them to catch mom. Well they decided to catch mom too. They caught her in a shelter, I picked up the shelter and decided to take it home to get mom and kittens out. They were in there screaming. I cracked it and took the first picture. She just looked at me. I separated the two tubs so I could get one of the cardboards off and open it. I got lucky and she went right into the transfer cage. Next step was check out the kittens. They were all tangled together by their umbilical cords. Not good. One had his leg tangled in the middle of it. As I'm separating them I realized that I was also seeing intestines. They had been tangled for a few days, so the force of pulling away from each other had torn open the little white kittens belly. I get them apart and wrap her up. I get them all into the kitten lunchbox and load my kids up to go to the nearest urgent care clinic. I knew it wouldn't be a good outcome for her but I couldn't let her suffer. She was euthanized and the other 3 were examined. We got antibiotics and pain meds for the one with the leg injury. The three kittens can still die from the infection in their umbilical site or from the leg injury. Kittens are adorable but this is not pretty. Think about this when you see a pregnant cat and want her to go into a rescue to have her kittens. If I would have caught her this wouldn't have happened. This is why we TNR. #tnr
