Who is looking for buddies to spend Super Bowl weekend (and the next 20 years of their life) with?

We have older kittens (6-8 months) looking for homes. Some come in pairs, others can be adopted as singles into homes with other playful cats.

PSA. If your male cat is not fixed HE WILL ESCAPE TO PROCREATE. If your female cat is not spayed SHE WILL ESCAPE TO PROCREATE. In the process of escaping they could be injured or attacked and possibly not make it home. This time of year EVERY. Single. Time. I see a lost cat post it is for an unfixed cat that has escaped from their home. Unfixed cats are also not usually vaccinated or microchipped either. That also means they are susceptible to disease while they are out and about looking for a hook up. Panleukopenia is no joke and is generally FATAL! If you have an unfixed cat and need assistance please reach out. We can't help everyone but we have resources available that we can direct you to for lower cost spay and neuter.

UPDATE. Mittens had a retained placenta and would have gotten very sick from it. Pyometra is deadly if left untreated.

Never a dull moment in the life of a cat rescuer. I got a call last night about this sweet girl, Her name is Mittens. She was in labor and gave birth to two stillborn babies, the third one was tiny and did not survive the night. The owner wasn't sure if she was still in labor or not but everything seemed to calm down. We are taking her to get fixed today to be safe. When all the kittens pass away we worry about an infection or something else going on to have caused that. I'm estimating her visit to cost around $200 dollars today, if anyone could donate towards her spay I would be very grateful. I can't do everything without you guys and your support! We have fixed cats from this location in the past, so I'm glad she called me for help.

APPOINTMENTS COVERED! 😭💕

Anytime I give someone cat food( which is often!) I always ask about their cats health and see if they need anything themselves. These two need to get fixed. Their names are North and Nala. Their mom had appointments scheduled and ended up getting sick and has been in and out of the hospital recently so she's worried that she won't be able to pay for them to get fixed. They have appointments on the 6th for spay and vaccinations

Here's where you guys come in. Would anyone want to sponsor one of them to get spayed? It's $80 per cat with an fvcrp and a rabies vaccine. I'm going to get her carriers and possibly do drop off/ pick up for her depending on how she's feeling that day.

It's $160 total so even if we can get a few people to donate 20 towards this it would be amazing!

Holy cats!

Who has thousands of homes in mind where these kittens can go? No one. There is nowhere for them to go! Shelters and rescues are overwhelmed. Euthanasia is happening to healthy animals all the time. We all can help with spay and neuter!

We have a fundraiser for February up now. We're going to get Tom Tom to the vet for a dental when they can get him in. He let me pet him yesterday and this morning but only if I have snacks. He's not nearly as stuffy and eats wet food like it's going out of style. We dropped kitties off at today. I have one more gal to introduce before she finds her forever home. If you can donate, all funds go toward rescue expenses like cameras and chickens, medical and supplies, TNR cats, cremation if it comes up (we're helping cremate a pup this month) and anything else that may come up during them month. This is Tom Tom. He's from my Brighton colony. The first picture is on Friday before the polar vortex, He's breathing very hard and pretty sick. Second picture is November and the third picture is September when he was following me around for chicken pieces. He's the oldest from this colony. I picked him up because we thought it was the end, He got a quick once over before I decided not to euthanize him because he wanted to eat. We know he needs a dental and he's been on doxy for 5 days. He's going back tomorrow for a recheck to decide what path he needs to take. Id love to be able to get him the dental if the vet thinks he can handle it, I'm not one to do extraordinary procedures on these guys because they are feral and it's not always possible for them to get everything they need. Dentals are between $600 and $900. If anyone can donate for this guy it would be greatly appreciated. We have taken on a lot this last few weeks. I've had a lot going on in my personal life as well as in the rescue. It's not cheap to keep helping these guys and I can't do it without you. Every dollar helps! If everyone of our followers donated 1 dollar a month, we would have about 1500 dollars each month for emergencies and vaccinations and medicine for all the cats we help. This month alone we have helped 65 cats( I may have missed one or two ) Our goal is usually 30 or 1 cat a day.

Tiramisu (Tara) and Anna Banana are 7 month old kittens looking for a home together. Anna (fluffier) is a sweetheart who had no problem adjusting to indoor life. Tara (short hair) is still settling in. She may never be a lap kitty and be more of a lurker, but you never know in the right quiet home. The 2 girls came from the same colony last fall, but probably different litters but have remained in foster together as friends.

Are you a cat whisperer with a quiet home for 2 house panthers? Even if you are not a cat whisperer but have patience you could be their perfect home.

2 more cats got fixed yesterday, bringing the total to 62 for this month. The middle 3 pictures are the same cat. He's doing much better now (1stpic) that someone cares about him.

The orange guy is getting seen tomorrow because he's sick, we thought he might need to be euthanized because he's just not getting better so he got caught before the storm. He might need some antibiotics or a dental but I couldn't let him suffer. We shall find out.

Still no phone. Thank goodness for the iPad, but posting is weird on here. I'm working on getting a phone but maybe not with the freeze this weekend. Stay warm and if you messaged the last few days we will help after this weather. I don't trap when it's this cold. I lost my phone. I'm currently in between finding it and getting a new one. Gotta wait for apple to let me in. I also lost my debit card and my id. 😵‍💫 I'll be checking in periodically on my kids iPad. If you need something urgently please email me as I can get into that email on my laptop. [email protected]

If you find an injured animal in the next few days email will be the fastest. I do have people monitoring the page that can get a hold of me too. Tomorrow I will be fixing up some shelters and stuffing them with more straw. We didn't get much donated for shelters but I did make 8 from what we got! We will make another round in a few weeks.
