It was a beautiful chilly afternoon with an overcast when we had the chance to be acquainted with our Quino's original furparents.
Backstory:
He was 7 months old when he left their nest for rehoming and it wasn't the easiest because of his natural cuteness. A lot of tears were shed that day. When he was finally in their arms again, he rather looked unfazed with the overwhelming rush of emotions from their end. I'm not sure if he remembered anything in that span of 17 months of lost communication because of his crazy wagging and smiles or he was just his usual friendly self when they met again. But overall, it was a sweet reunion. ❤

Remember how our Science teachers always encourage us to eat healthy balanced meals everyday? Go, grow and glow! Instead of the regular treats which can be bought over the counter, our little canine PAWmily scrambles for their bite sized veggies to enjoy. Their favorites include carrots, apples, sayote, squash, corn & potatoes. We quickly boil them for their meals but we give it to them raw for snacks. Sweet, crunchy, fresh and healthy! Who else likes their veggies?

This was when little Alfred appeared to be stuck in the birth canal, halfway out and mommy Lizzy cannot push him anymore. He came last in order and like her eldest whelp Albert, whom she lost earlier, Alfie was quite big for her mother's size. What a beautiful recollection about 3 weeks ago! This was my very first time to assist in dog birth.

On the morning of our youngest Corsini lad's birthday (July 28), our Queen Maya decided to whelp her first litter of babies before us (third for King Quino). We are pleased to inform you that we are blessed to be joined by four more adorable royal babies: Adam (dobie), Andrew (tricolor), Anastasia (black & white) and Amelia (black & white). There could have never been a celebration doubly happier than this but with profound sadness, before they can even turn a day old, we lost little Anastasia through natural causes. Still we are jubilated to announce that after a week, the little pups are thriving and are well-sustained. It is a happy engagement of everyday furs and barks. Indeed, the snuggle is real, and this we thank.

Introducing Princes Alfred and Augustus, born on July 15, 2021, first litter of Queen Elizabeth and 2nd for King Quino, of pure royal shih tzu lineage. "Alfie" (tricolor), who towers over his supposed older brother "Augie" (dobie liver), is more agile and extoverted like his father while the latter is the more reserved sibling like her majesty Lizzy. While the future is yet to be seen for the royals, both boys remain in good care and health condition as of writing.
