CosyGroo Coats Homemade jumpers, coats and fleeces for Sighthounds I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with greyhounds and galgos for 20 years.

I have tried to keep them clothed in the latest fashions and had no complaints from them! So now, armed with proper patterns, I would like to offer a selection for sale to the community of sighthound owners. The fleeces I am offering for sale, at the moment, are jumpers with 2 front legs ( can adapt for tripawds) that go over the head or fleece vests that also go over the head bout have shoulder c

uffs instead of legs. I use polar, anti-pill fleece unless otherwise stated. For best results was at 30 degrees and don't tumble dry. I have a selection of fleeces already made which I aim to post within 48 hrs of ordering. I can have fleeces made up within a week of ordering. If fleece is out of stock it may take 2 weeks to re order and complete for posting. Please message the page or email [email protected] if you would like a particular colour and I can advise on waiting time. Postage and packing is £4 and please refer to the price list in the pinned post for the different sizes and styles. I hope you enjoy looking at the range which I have enjoyed making and trying on my gang! They are happy to model for payment in treats. Podencos and Galgos are the two main breeds that are used for hunting in Spain, although others suffer to at the hands of this Spanish tradition. Podencos and Galgos are often referred to as ‘Invisible Dogs’ or ‘The Great Forgotten’. Sadly, they are the most abused dogs in Spain. Bred to hunt and kept in squalid conditions, often chained - these ‘working dogs’ are not protected by Spanish law.

In 2023, there was an overhaul to the Spanish animal rights laws but devastatingly hunting dogs were excluded from these rights as they are viewed as tools and therefore not protected. It can be difficult to imagine the suffering they endure, hidden from view.

At the end of the hunting season, they are dumped, tortured or killed in their thousands. This barbaric practice needs to stop and we encourage you to lend your voice to these dogs.

This special boy, Idris, has been adopted this week by Donna Kors. She was all prepared with some new jumpers for him.
He is a loving and friendly boy and completely gorgeous 😍❤️🐾
His story is quite heartbreaking, he was rescued by Candy’s Hound Rescue from the meat market in China.
One of the lucky ones ❤️

We have donated a percentage of the Christmas sales to two amazing rescues.
Norfolk Greyhound Rescue from whom we got Lottie our beautiful, brindle greyhound and Project Galgo who gave us pretty, little Gracie and the very special (in so many ways 😅) Manuel ❤️🐾
