TRACK ANNOUNCEMENT

Kidz Kartz are now back training at the track every Wednesday afternoon from 4pm onwards.

The track will be closed to all riders every Wednesday from 4pm.

The track is available every other day from 1pm onwards.

Just a reminder, there is no parking of vehicles in the tie up area. Parking is directly inside entrance/exit gates only. Please do not feed any hay and remember to clean up after your horse in the car park and tie up area.

It's great to see so many of you enjoying our track!
And we truly appreciate that you are keeping to the inside track.
BUT...... we do seem to have a problem with a fair few people not paying their $10 track fee. Can those of you yet to pay, please pay A.S.A.P.
When you pay, please put your car rego and colour of your horse on the reference for bank payments or on an envelope if you are paying via the honesty box. This makes it easier for us to match our camera images to your payments.
We would hate to have to do pictures of shame each month for those that we can not match or find payments for.

One last note - can you please keep off the grass areas. It is so very wet at the moment and the horses are making quite a mess!

THE NEWS YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!!
The track is now open for riding! Every day after 1pm.

We have one new important rule in place....... Please only use the inside the track. The outside track is for the racehorses ONLY.

Looking forward to seeing you all enjoy our wonderful track once again.

Just a wee update......
Repairs on the track have started. We had a wee bit of a set back with it flooding again on Friday. But rest assured, we have our fingers crossed that we will reopen in a couple of weeks time. Keep an eye on our page for further updates :-)

Hope you have all kept safe during the floods! It feels as though we have all only just recovered from the last big flood. Please make sure you check on your friends and neighbours. We are so incredibly lucky to live in such a wonderful community!

Bad news time.........
Unfortunately our track has been significantly damaged again and will be closed for some time. The damage appears to be worse this time so it will take a bit longer to repair. Please keep an eye on our page for any updates.

Notice to all track users
This week Kidz Karts are holding a 3 day training course - Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th. The track is closed to all riders until 3pm. You are welcome to use the track from 3pm on-wards. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Its great to see so many of you enjoying the track!
Its finally starting to feel a bit like summer!! The days are longer, the grass is starting to grow and horses are losing their winter coats!

A few updates in regards to the track.

With so many burglaries happening in the area recently, we have upgraded our security here at the track and have installed several new cameras. Hopefully this will discourage thieves coming in and scoping things out.

The starting of daylight savings brings the starting of Kidz Kartz for the summer! This means the track is unavailable for riders every WEDNESDAY between the hours of 4pm and 7pm while they train. There are still a few spaces available for new members if anyone is interested. If you have a child who is between 8-16yo and is keen to get involved, pop over to their page, Kidz Kartz Kumeu, and flick them a message. You don't even need to own your own pony, the club has many cute little fluff balls for your child to love on. Your child doesn't even need to have any horse experience either - just a love of horses and the willingness to learn!

Welcome Kumeu Trotting Club and Equestrian Training Centre.
We are pleased to inform you we are now open for use again.
800m all weather training track available for both harness and riding disciplines. Wash bays and tie-up facilities available. Riders welcome after 1pm daily. $10 per horse. Honesty box located at office in parking area. Please clean up after your horse in the carpark and tie-ups. No hay is to be fed in the carpark area.
Please note: Kidz Kartz train every Wednesday (summer only) from 4pm to 8pm so the track is closed to riders during this time.
Its great to be back up and running after the floods and we look forward to you enjoying our facilities.
