Due to people moving around (mostly up!) in my Rally classes, I have two openings for the upcoming session.

MONDAY 1:45PM - begins June 3
Novice / Intermediate CKC and Novice / Advanced CARO.

THURSDAY 5:30PM - begins June 13
Novice CARO and CKC.

These are not for Beginner dogs; previous training required as well as previous knowledge of Rally for the handler.

Starting to schedule the next session of classes that will begin the week of June 3.

There may be a few spots available in the daytime and evening Life Skills classes, and possibly a few others once I'm done shuffling people around as we head into the summer months.

As 2023 draws to a close, we would like to thank all of our students for continuing to support us.

All 10 classes of the first session of 2024 are full with returning students. If you're waiting, we hope to add a few more classes in the second session as we continue our search for a new home.

For now, we continue to be at Centre St. Louis on a session by session basis for most classes. The exception is conformation, which is on a drop-in basis at Fetch Canine on Sundays.

OUT & ABOUT - FINAL SESSION! Wednesdays at 6:30pm *2 SPOTS*
TREIBBALL - ANY LEVEL. Thursdays at 4:30 & 6:00pm *3 SPOTS*

Drop in handling continues on the weekends but you must be on my email list to receive notifications.

This is the tentative schedule for the next session of classes beginning the week of September 11. Limited spots available, schedule subject to change.

For the following session (toward the end of October) there will be two additional day classes added with Lu; one likely will be Foundations and the other is to be determined. Could be TRICKS (Novice), LIFE SKILLS or INTRO TO OBEDIENCE & RALLY.

It's a good idea to reach out in advance for both sessions!

A new session of classes at Balance Canine Training begins the week of Monday, July 24 (for most classes). Daytime Rally classes will begin on Monday, August 7. There are a few openings available so if you've been waiting to get in, now's the time!

MONDAY NOON - Rally Excellent-Masters
This class has one spot available and covers both CKC and CARO, as required.

MONDAY 1:15PM - Rally Intermediate-Advanced
This class MAY have one spot available.

MONDAY 6:30PM - Out & About (Advanced)
One spot available for teams with advanced training who want to proof behaviours in different locations.

MONDAY 6:00PM - Foundations / Foundations 2 *TENTATIVE*
For those new to training or have taken some puppy classes. The students in this class have moved on. It's ready to be filled again.

MONDAY 7:15PM - time TBD depending on 6PM class
LIFE SKILLS / TRICKS
One spot. A little bit of everything in this class, designed for dogs with enough training to be challenged by new skills.

TUESDAY 7:15PM - Rally Novice-Advanced
One spot. A mixed level class of both CARO and CKC exercises, as required. No Beginners unless the handler has done Rally previously.

WEDNESDAY 1:30PM - Out & About (Novice)
Tentative class based on response. There are 3 spots available.

WEDNESDAY 6:30PM - Out & About (Intermediate)
Maybe one spot available in the evening class.

THURSDAY 7:00PM - Treibball (Beginner to Novice)
If you've been thinking about trying this sport now is the time. This class has room for four at the moment, unless I end up combining it with the earlier class.

Balance Canine Training has a new session beginning next week, with a few spots still available.

MONDAY 10AM (Lu): Pre-Novice Obedience / Intro to Rally
There is one spot left in this class that could be filled by an older dog with training OR a Foundations dog/puppy. We have one Foundations pup in this class already.

MONDAY 6PM (Lu): Foundations
For dogs or puppies just beginning their training journey. There are three spots available in this class.

WEDNESDAY 1:30PM & 6:00 / 6:30PM (TBD): Out & About (Novice)
Two spots available in the afternoon and one in the evening.

All other classes are full; thanks to all for their continued support!

All of the Balance Canine Training classes will start a new session starting the week of February 27. There is room in a few of the classes:
MONDAY 6PM: FOUNDATIONS has one spot.
MONDAY 7:15PM: LIFE SKILLS / TRICKS has two spots.
WEDNESDAY 1:00PM: RALLY (up to Advanced level) has two spots.
WEDNESDAY 2:00PM: TREIBBALL has one spot.
All other classes are now full.

Rally students entered or entering trials in the next month or so, there is time offered with me on Friday evening (October 28) at 6PM to go through some courses and work on problem spots or signs you are unsure of. So far I will be setting a MASTERS CKC course and a CARO NOVICE course based on response. If you would like to attend please let me know so I know who to expect. And what type of course you would like to run. Drop in rate of $20.

Final session of 2022 begins mid-November. There are two new time slots I would like to fill: Mondays at 6pm for something like Foundations, Life Skills or Tricks. And Tuesdays at 6pm for Rally or Rally Free. If you are interested in any of these, please send an email to [email protected]

RALLY STUDENTS who are entered in Brandon or the upcoming CARO trial; I am considering some extra time for full course run-throughs and to work on "trouble" spots. This would be a drop-in, extra class.

Options could include TUESDAYS at 6:00PM, FRIDAY evenings, or a variety of day time hours.
