Can you spot the counterfeit medication?

One of these was ordered online from a pharmacy that did not require a prescription (the one on the left). The dog taking it later tested positive for a tick born disease and the owner was asked to bring the medication in to be inspected. Please be sure you order directly from your vet or a reputable online pharmacy that requires a prescription!

Vet's Here is happy to announce the addition of Dr. Matthew Hefner to our Canejo Valley team! Dr. Hefner grew up in Hickory, NC next to his uncle's veterinary clinic, always surrounded by animals. He decided to continued the family legacy and become a veterinarian. Dr. Hefner attended North Carolina State for his BS in Animal Science and continued there to receive his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine focusing on mixed animal practice. He then moved to Southern California with his girlfriend and cats, Albondiga, Chicharron, and Frijol and started in small animal practice. Dr. Hefner has now joined us to pursue his passion as a mixed animal vet! When he is not working he enjoys playing and watching all sports, hiking, and traveling. Welcome Dr. Hefner!

Meet Chip. Chip was an orphaned baby swallow that Dr. Fanning's family tried to help. Her kids did a great job with feeding and caring for him with mom's help for about a week and a half. Sadly he did not make it but his cute little mug will live on forever in our hearts!

Usually her produce goes to her vegan restaurants but with her restaurants shuttered she is going to start selling CSA boxes from Agoura Hills! She has teamed up with another farm to provide variety. Everything will be in bankers boxes for safety and they will put them right in your car.
Buying from her will avoid the grocery store and feed your family healthy produce, all while supporting local farming, small business, and a wonderful family!

HOUSE CALL FEES WAIVED FOR SICK PET VISITS!

Please spread the word! Vet's Here will be waiving all house call fees for the next 14 days for any new sick pet appointments. The cost of an at home appointment will now be equivalent to taking your pet in. We want to encourage everyone to stay home, even if their pets need care. This applies to anyone, you don't have to be a regular client. Everyone should have access to at home care without additional fees at this time! We can maintain social distance with the use of our trucks and keep everyone safe.

More Pigs! Dr. Sarkisian is an experienced swine (fancy word for pig!) veterinarian. He can perform surgeries such as this castration being performed on "Kevin Bacon"! This amazing kitty needs a home! He showed up at the home of a client and she has been caring for him for several months.
We went out to give him an exam and check for a microchip (sadly none) yesterday and he is the biggest love bug! Our client cannot keep him due to her two other cats. He is neutered and we estimate he is about 4 years old. He is in Oxnard. If you are interested please message us and I will put you in touch with our client! Truly a gem of a cat, I hope we can find him a family!
