Lilly’s Labs Located in Polk City, Fl, we breed AKC registered Labrador Retrievers. Lilly is a black lab and Hank is a chocolate lab. At this time, we only breed once a year.

Hey everybody! We hope all is well. A local couple in Lakeland, Fl have purchased a male lab puppy from “All About Puppies” located in Lakeland. Due to no fault of his own, his family is needing to rehome him due to their toddler being absolutely terrified and returning him is not an option. We’ve offered to help get the word out, so if you or anyone you know is looking for a beautiful lab, please message us and we will provide contact information to you.

Let’s talk about microchipping and why it’s so important.

This last weekend was filled with fireworks and vacations. If you leave your dog with someone while you go on vacation and your dog has a hard time with fireworks, you might find yourself in a situation where your dog runs away. If you purchased from a breeder who includes the microchip in the sale of your puppy, always take the time to make sure that the chip is properly registered. Some breeders will leave it up to you to register the microchip with your personal information. Some breeders will do it for you. Or some breeders will have the puppy registered to them only. If your puppy or dog runs away the first thing you hope someone will do is take them to the vet to check for a microchip. A properly registered microchip will have your furbaby reunited with you ASAP!

If you aren’t sure how your puppy is registered, I suggest taking a second to check it and make sure everything is correct. Remember it’s also hurricane season and some furbabies are scared of thunder too! 💜

I guess being in the “shade” and in the ac is more important than going potty. We were outside for less than 5 minutes before she took off back to front door and whined to go inside. Her first stop inside was the water bowel then she went to the fan.

Minnie had gotten to go to her Gram’s house the last 2 days. She is definitely enjoying her time getting one on one attention without any brothers and sisters to get in the way! Her favorite toys are her Gram’s crocs, an antler, her Gram’s package that came yesterday, a towel, empty water bottles, and everything else that she’s not supposed to play with. Today she found a little bunny and that has been the only toy to keep her attention the longest. 💜

I can’t believe that we are puppy free (obviously not entirely, but still). All of our babies are missed, but it will be so nice to be able to put more of our focus on getting ready for our baby instead of taking care of Lilly’s babies. We’re so thankful to know that each of our babies went to great homes. I can’t wait to watch them grow and explore and learn new things. 💜

Our last 2 babies went to their new families today! Tacoma (now Tucker) has 2 human siblings, a boy and a girl, and Bravo (now Loki) has 2 human siblings, 2 girls, and a dog brother(Walter) from Lilly’s last litter. We’re super happy that all of our babies found wonderful, loving homes and will have endless adventures for the rest of their lives! 💜

Tonight Amarillo (now Stitch) has gone to his furever home with the McGuire family. I was super excited when we first met them because they live all of 15 minutes away from us. The puppies all got to meet Stitch’s new k9 sister, Lilo, who is a Great Dane! Lilo is actually the one who chose Stitch. We took all the puppies over to meet Lilo so the McGuire’s could see which puppy would mesh well into Lilo’s world. We all were having a conversation when this little guy walked over and started playing with Lilo all on his own. Immediately, I said that it looked like Lilo picked her Stitch! We’re so thankful that he’s gone to such a loving home and even more excited that we get to have play dates with Lilo & Stitch! 💜

Squealer (now Bella) and Spooby (now Porter) have joined their new families today!

Bella is an only child and her new dad is so excited to have her after he lost his 13 year old chocolate lab earlier this year.

Porter has a 7 year old yellow lab brother named Leo and a small furball of hate named Gracie (she’s a poodle lol) and a cat who was not a fan of him, but I’m sure she’ll come around.

JJ (now Bo), Woody (now Fischer), and Midnight (now Reese) have all joined their new families today! It’s been a busy day dropping them off, but it’s always so rewarding to see how happy our puppies make their families. Then we came home and had Amarillo’s family (now Stitch) over for a play date with him. His new family is so excited to welcome him home, but they have to wait an extra week because his Great Dane sister, Lilo, has had pneumonia. 2 more leaving tomorrow!

Daisy, new name Zoey, is spending her first night with her new family tonight. If you see me in the next few days and I’m crying, this is why. Our babies start making their ways to their new homes and while I’m excited for them, I’m also sad to see them go. It’s crazy how attached we’ve gotten to the puppies this time. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that while I couldn’t share my pregnancy with a lot of people, I could share it Lilly. What I craved, we shared. When I was tired, we napped and snuggled. When I didn’t feel good, she gave me love. I laid in the pool with Lilly and loved her while she was in labor and David popped every single sack on every single puppy.

Congrats Jessica and family on your new puppy and thank you for choosing us to help grow your family!

As of right now, the current litter that we have will be our last for a good while. This October, David and I are expecting our first baby and we want to be able to devote time to her, our 7 labs, our hobbies, and our cattle business. We’ve also been having the discussion of spaying Lilly so that we don’t have any accidental litters. I am more than happy to refer to other breeders in the area. While we love having a litter, we want to be able to devote the necessary time to raising them while also not neglecting our new duties as parents. We love and appreciate everyone of you, especially if you’ve taken one of our babies into your home. This little guy thinks he’s the boss of everything! We think his new parents are going to have a handful with him.

It’s not all puppy breath and cute nibbles to the nose and unlimited snuggles. This is what you get sometimes. Especially when you take them out of the area that’s been their home for 4 weeks so you can give it a nice deep clean before returning them to their area.
