The 🦝 movement has still been slow here. Little to no tracks to be found. I haven’t seen any while driving or sitting walking in my best spots. She really had to work for these two last night. The first woods I turned her in she ended up going close to 1000 yards and treeing on a den. I walked the entire way in her tracks with my red light on to ensure she didn’t run by anything as I always do. The next woods I turned her loose in she went 800 yards and made two ground barks then let out some tremendous locates I recorded for you. She treed there and has one balled up top of a big oak tree. The next spot I took her to she went over 1000 yards and treed one sitting on the outside of a den tree. She is built right and has arguably one of the best mouths I have heard on a female, especially for a dog under the age of 2. Her name is Lone Pine Downed Line. She has grown on me.

There is a reason I never refer to what I do as a “sport”. I played sports in school and have coached for my entire adult life. I have never once viewed the life I live or the lives my ancestors lived to be some sort of game or sport. For me and my family it has always been a family tradition that surrounds itself around friendship and a good bond with a dog. This is our way of life now as it was over 100 years ago. At least 4 generations strong and will never stop. The world changes, but the love of family, both people and dogs never fades.

Had a great few days deer hunting with a couple of great friends. Randy and his son Troy came over to my place Thursday and left this afternoon. We got to talk trapping and swap c**n hunting stories while we waited. They will be back come muzzleloader season and I can’t wait. Thank you Johnny Dalton and Valley Creek Hunting Supply for the awesome hat.

The final results from the Eric Piatt benefit hunt. Everyone who was generous enough to make this all possible raised $13,822 for Eric and his family. Great fellowship with great friends while enjoying great food. Thank you to Burchel Davis and family for putting on yet another great chili dinner for everyone. We had a great dinner followed by a great night in the woods. It was bitter cold around 15 degrees and pretty windy all night with heavy frost. In the first woods we hunted two super stakes finalists, Bob and Cass. Both dogs treed them as well as any dog could even in rough conditions. They showed why they have such success last night. Hunting in this weather is my absolute favorite. This time of year will show you what your dog is capable of. I am never disappointed going to the woods with dogs that have Phrogger, Wh**ey, Simple Man’s Kennel and Lone Pine in their pedigree. They tree all kinds and sound great doing it. Both dogs stayed split and treed two a piece. Both had one balled up on top of giant oaks, and each had one curled up on the outside of dens. I can’t wait to share the video with you. Happy Thanksgiving from the Stark family. I have many things to be thankful for. I am extremely thankful for my loving wife and amazing kids. I am thankful for the dogs I have the opportunity to experience life with and share with you. I am thankful for the messages I get from people who are just getting into c**n hunting or those who stopped and saw something I posted and were convinced to get back involved. I am thankful for another record year pushing our lifestyle into the mainstream. I am thankful to each and every one of you out there that watch, comment, message and like the stuff I share on here. The future of Stark Outdoors has never been brighter and I appreciate all of your support. Well tonight we took a big step in the right direction. This is one of the pups I am currently hunting for Randy Smith. Her name is Lone Pine Little Shot. She is a nice young female out of Little Money and Lone Pine Quick Shot. She is definitely a track dog with a big locate. This was the first of many to come her way. Her future is bright.
