After each Springfield Mo Bird And All Pet Fair we get requests for information, claims about not knowing about it, and regrets about not attending. If you follow the page obviously you know when the fairs takes place. If you follow the page and don't read the posts, there is nothing we can do to help. We post in most bird groups ad nauseam to their admins. The next fair is February 17th. Our fairs draw the breeders...we had all the large birds and multiples of them and many found new perches, as a fair is a "safe" place to find them. We had "zoo" birds, chances are high you will not find Mynahs and Bleeding Heart Doves at other fairs. Then we had everything in between. Alot of seed and pellets that was half off retail or more. The ability to stock up and save 💰 was endless. Hand crafted toys that you will not find in most pet shops. So now is the time to mark your calendar for February 17th. Time to put in for a day off. A fun, enjoyable time is just about 16 weeks away. We are already planning on a great one and we are planning it for you.

The Springfield Mo Bird And All Pet Fair is apon us! We are going to have an outstanding group of vendors and breeders! You should find all your bird needs. Cages. Stands. Feeders. Waterers. So much more. Additionally feed...there will be at least 4 to 5 dealers of private label, Zupreem, Higgins, L' Avian. LOTS OF BIRDS...exotic doves..finches...Canaries..to lots of larger birds. Remember we only get pics from a few breeders. There will be lots of surprises.Please see fair page for additional pics and info. Read attachments to this post. We don't talk 💰 here. Please Share. Admission/ Entrance into the building of the Springfield Mo Bird And All Pet Fair will be on the EAST side of the Central Buildings Event Center. You will see a stand alone bathroom building...across from that is the entrance door.
Remember Cash at door. No card Reader available. DO NOT BLOCK ANY ROADS OR DRIVES. If you come in Gate 11 on East side of Fairgrounds you will be infront of Entrance area.

PLEASE READ. The Springfield Mo Bird And All Pet Fair will take place in the Central Buildings Event Center. Same place it was it was in February.

USE GATE 11 ON EAST END OR GATE 10 ON NORTH SIDE.
NOTE! READ! Any Gate at the Fairgrounds Will take you to the Central Buildings Event Center. Gate 10 should be the easiest to the location. The Northeast corner is where the building is located. Other Gates will take you there just find a road and head towards the Northeast corner.

Things to remember.

●Admission is only at the door day of fair. Cash only. No card Reader.

PLEASE READ: Some things to remember:

Come on October 21st prepared to enjoy yourself!

●NO OUTSIDE BIRDS OR ANIMALS. Vendor birds only.

If you are thinking about buying birds, bring your carrier or small travel cage so you will be prepared.

●● PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING CASH AT ADMISSION. There will be no card reader at the door.

Most vendors take cards, but some are cash only. Think ahead about purchases.

Fair is 10 to 3. Plan to arrive early, as vendors can sell out early. Come before 2. Usually over by then.

ALWAYS refer to page for details. The Springfield Bird Fair page will have the correct info.

The Springfield Bird Fair provides a venue for the public to meet with breeders and supply dealers. It is the public's responsibility to gather information and guarantees (if any) on birds, animals and supplies.

Announcements made day of event supersedes these.

We are approaching a week out. Fair time is near! VENDORS CONTRACTS ARE DUE OCTOBER 15. It's coming together! Be sure you are reading posts and watching for new ones.
There are going to be an excellent variety of birds but don't forget the toys, cages, stands and so much more! You will want to stock up on seed and pellets. There will be at least 4 feed dealers including Zupreem and Higgins.
Remember info on birds can be discovered Saturday October 21 when you meet the breeders and the birds. Please share.

We are 3 weeks out and the fair is looking outstanding! Many tables were spoken for before the contracts were mailed! This is where the bird lover meets the breeders and birds face to face! Contracts are in the mail for all vendors who requested contracts and those vendors who were with us in February. Return upon arrival. All tables must be paid for by October 15. We must pre-rent tables.

We have booked a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn on North Glenstone. It is about 5 minutes from the fairgrounds. Right off I-44 to and from. I have stayed there since the fair has been at the Ozark Empire fairgrounds. Have always been pleased. Rooms are 84.00. Special rate is for Friday night and also Saturday too if needed. Hotel # is 417-869-8246.

OCTOBER 21ST.
What is a bird fair? A bird fair is a sensory overload of everything bird (and other exotic pets and more). If you have not attended now is the time to mark your calendar. At a bird fair you will find variety and in most cases hard to find supplies. Most importantly you will find a VARIETY OF BIRDS. Most of all... should say usually, find birds that can not be found in the trade or pets shops. You will find common popular birds and rare and hard to find birds. You will also meet the BREEDERS who know first hand about the birds you are interested in, and in most cases have had years of experience with breeding and taming birds. Then the VENDORS who will bring everything bird related from personally hand crafted toys, nests, seed, pellets, mixes, cuttlebone, feeders, waters, and everything bird related and needed for your pet or breeders. You will also meet ENTREPRENEURS those individuals who have created their own lines of proven feeds, crafted toys, and so much more.
And maybe the best is the people you meet that share the same passion as you do for their birds. Bird fairs are the place to make bird friends in every sense of the word!
