The Dogs and Cat Management Board have made local vet clinics aware of a scam email going around requesting payment for microchip registration renewal.

PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS - ITS A SCAM

Once your pet is microchipped and registered, it is registered for life and does not need to be renewed!
Only DACO/Council registration requires yearly renewal and this can be done by going into your local council!

Should you have any questions or concerns, please call you vet clinic can help to search your pets microchip to check the registration.
