Vet checkups for your dog or cat allow your veterinarian to monitor your pet's health, look for early indications of disease, and prescribe preventative medications to help protect your pet from potentially fatal illnesses.
🐱 🐶Kitten or Puppy: Birth to 1 Year
The vet will examine your pup or kitten to make sure they are growing well and shows no signs of an illness. They'll check again at around 6 months when you bring your pet in to be spayed or neutered.
🐱 🐶Adult: 1 to 7-10 Years- Depending on Type of Pet and Breed
If your pet has any problems or the vet notices anything strange during the exam, he or she may request additional tests.
🐱 🐶Senior: 7 to 10 Years and Older
Veterinarians recommend that elderly pets have their health checked twice a year. Your cat or dog will receive vaccines as needed, as well as a comprehensive physical examination and testing to monitor any issues.
