Please DO NOT BUY bunnies for Easter.
Consider FOSTERING or FOSTER TO ADOPT.
There is a rabbit crisis in Ontario. Many buy bunnies and house them in tiny cages that were marketed to make easy profits.
Once you look into rabbit care you realize how much space they need, their delicate digestive system, and delicate bodies. You’ll need a rabbit savvy Vet.
Also you need to Neuter or Spay your bunny to stop unwanted spraying.
Bunnies are social and are ment to be housed as pairs. Meaning spay/neuter, bunnies are also picky whom they want to live with and often need to “date”.
So many local rescues have great tips and advice for rabbit care. Also most are looking for fosters. Please reach out:

( If after researching rabbit care welfare and not just trusting product marketing from corporations you still want to add rabbits to your home for the next 8 years there are lots of animal rescues in the area over capacity with rabbits, please message us and we’ll provide a list of rescues)
Also test for ALLERGIES 🤧 before adopting, adult rabbits eat unlimited hay, Timothy, brome,meadow, oat, botanical,. Baby bunnies eat Alfalfa,., please check for these allergies also.

Picked this older lady up from the middle of Highway 2 today… She wasn’t far from home we found her dad a few houses down but she’s apparently getting forgetful and wandered off within a few minutes! 😱 cars were speeding around me with my four ways on 😠

Buns of May and June!
Fostering is for the caring. Young bunny care 8 weeks-6 months: Getting weights up, litter training, socialization, post spay/neuter care, re litter training, expanding their world to free roaming house bunnies! Buns are like cats that really do not like to be picked up. Introducing the basket, this is not for cuteness its a necessity not to have your arms/body cut by baby bunny razor nails ha. Consider an adult bunny if you do not have the time to spend a majority of the day with your bunny from 8weeks old to 2 months after spay/neuter (usually age 5 months-8 months)

We ask for lots of information so we can have quality time together with your pet and so they are as comfortable with us as possible.
We are a judgement free zone and like to know what commands we can work on during our visits!
There are different documents for different species. There are also vacation documents if we are looking out for your pets while you’re out of town.
These photos are our basic fee/service information and Dog wellcare visit welcome intake forms.

We just want to share the importance of leash safety and “double leashing”!
We use a no-pull front clip harness for controlled walking, a coupler (safety strap) from their collar to the leash, and a waist leash! Check out our wild boy modelling our setup!
No - chance of “leash drop/slip”. Children (and adults) often drop leashes so we recommend a child size waist leash or an adult waist leash
No - worries if an energetic pooch slips their harness
No - searching for your lost pooch

SOON we will be manufacturing our own safety straps and waist leashes!!! We could not be more excited about this as safety is our favourite!

He was born in Iqaluit, Nunavut one day finding himself in the . The nice people there partnered with and flew him down to . Here is where his current pup mom 8 years ago from Brockville saw him online, drove to meet him, saw them bring a little mop out to meet her and made the adoption!
“My little face is that of a muppet, but if you hold my ears back I’m a little baby seal.”
Great Grandma is his absolute favourite and he sticks to her like glue. He loves visiting her at their river front property by jumping out of the car and barking to let everyone know he’s arrived.
But NEVER touch my collar I have it delicately just where I want it!

Glad to see all those lovely flowers cheering everyone on! Just a reminder baby’s breath is often placed with roses 🌹 this small vine flower is toxic to house pets, bulbs are toxic to your pets, some potted house plants like tulips are often gifted, and a reminder all parts of the lily/daffodil plant family including the WATER is toxic and extremely deadly to your cats. (reduce your risk by removing filament from your flowers).
Signs of plant poisoning:
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Drooling
Foaming
Weight loss
Lethargy
Depression
The deadliest reaction is kidney failure which is a high risk with lilies.
It is safest not to have these flowers in your home. But if you do, enjoy your flowers by keep them high, sturdy, and dispose of them before any petals/filament fall.

Sadie was a rescue in southern ontario
She now lives with a Siberian Husky Brother, a cat who thinks he’s a husky on an acreage lot with a warm cozy home, ponds, and lots of room to run around and get up to no good.
Her memorable trick is giving paw from any position she’s in, just move your hand 😂
