Riot is the biggest Powerhouse of any dog we have ever owned, Always on board for Anything and putting every effort he has into everything he does.

It was another busy weekend for Northern Warriorz showing at the Minneapolis Kennel Club in Shakopee.
Kiah took first in her puppy class and reserve on Saturday. A huge Thank You to Joe Yanish for showing Kiah "KK" the wild child for us 💓
Little Ms Aspen owned and handled by Sara Seibert-Johnson took first in her puppy class today.
To say we are beyond proud for both girls is an understatement .We can't wait to see what the future holds 💞

This weekend was quite an adventure for Wyowires Legend At Northern Warriorz (Riot) our pup of Thunderhills VC Hardwire Hank (Hank)/VC Wyowires Too Hot to Handle (Remi) .
What started out as attempting to achieve an International title on Riot and knowledge of the critique given at this show .We were interested of judges opinion of what we had as a dog per AKC GWP Standards.This was also an opportunity to give me a bit of Ring time for experience as we are just beginning.
This soon led into a pretty wild ride.
Day 1 Riot earned group 1 in sporting dog class and a Group 2 in the 2nd show.
This show had an Express show if you entered all 4 shows for the weekend.Which awarded a 3rd critique of your dog.
Great information and all judges loved him.
We went home ecstatic of how well he done and how he carried himself throughout the day.We learned Riot definitely has a way of announcing his Presence with his proud prance and beautiful tail set.
Also while sitting in the deer stand on Sunday morning I learned that he already earned his International title on day one.
We went to Day 2 late morning to get some more ring time and Riot pulled off 2 more sporting group wins leaving Tracy and I pretty much speechless wondering where this ride was taking us.
Later in the day Riot won Reserve Best in show for the first show then went on to Win Best in show on show 2 we were Extatic at how the judges felt about Riot.
As I was putting my coat the Show Superintendent was like dont go anywhere your are not done yet.
Confused as you can imagine we go into the Ring again 13th time in 2 days lol.
This was for the Grand Sieger!!
Grand Sieger is the Best of all show Winners for the weekend.

We are very privileged for Lisa Uhrich ,and Terry at Wyowires Kennel in Casper Wyoming for Trusting us with this Phenomenal GWP.
Now it is back to hunting and training for His UT and SR hunt title.

We are excited to announce the planned breeding of Gritt/Rhyley.
Gritt has a fantastic laid back personality loving everyone he comes near. Yet a hard charging medium range dog in the field streching out on short cover and working closer checking in often on heavy cover.
Many of you have met Rhyley at hunt tests or training days.Rhyley is very fast working with unbelievable intensity on point that is very different than most Gwp. There are videos of her on this page during training exercises.
Rhyley is 2 time Navhda ut1 and qualified for the Navhda Invitational that will be running sept 2025. Rhyley is 1 leg short of her akc Senior hunt title that should be completed in the spring and will continue into Master hunt.
Rhyley has a super tight coat and we are excited for the coat this pairing will produce.

A little fun with Top Shelf's Branding Iron II (Gritt) and Northern Warriorz Hardwire Outlaw (Kiah) they made short work getting a limit in about an hour.Great having alot of birds this year,but cuts the dog work short which i enjoy more.

It was a Great Minnesota pheasant opener with Riot getting it done within the first hour and a half.

It's been a crazy ride with Northern Warriorz Feel The Thunder (Rhyley) on trying to achieve her AKC SR hunt title , Rhyley earned her 3rd pass today towards her title . Hunting season is here and we are looking forward to finishing next Spring!!!!!!

One thing I always think about is hoping our puppy family's enjoy their dogs as much as we do.
Tracy Shoutz Vollmer and I are still busy with hunt tests and looking forward to duck hunting starting here tomorrow.
It makes our day when puppy family's share there successes and keep in touch.

Although we do not Breed many litters we have still dealt with the challenges of Breeding what you hope are to be powerful Bidable Gwp with a great temperament.
The Vc Rebel/VcHank litter are about 6.5 months and playing big dog games already.
Waking up in the morning to messages like this are what really make our efforts worth while especially when they come from folks that don't actually own the Pup.

Hunter.
(Got his first duck cripple yesterday. He actually stuck his head underwater to retrieve it. He chased it and pursued it for about 10 mins and finally got it.
Impressive
Relentless!!)

Tracy and I would like to Thank Hunter for all of the help Getting Murphy aka (Black boy) started and helping owner Ben build a Great hunting dog.

I always enjoy watching Rhyley work and Grab point.Proud Dad moment.
I have heard that dogs will sometimes lick their lips when they understand what is going on. Interesting, I am going to watch for this more.

It was a busy weekend for us at Northern Warriorz , 7 out of 10 of our Rebel / Hank litter tested for NA .
Words can not describe how proud of all the puppy families we have .You all have gone above and beyond what a breeder is looking for.Thank you so much for your time exposing this litter to prepare them for testing at only 5 months.

As of now this litter has earned ,
3 pz 1
3 pz 2
1 pz 3 Who earned all max scores until a difficult track took its toll.Unfortunately tracking is always a roll of the dice due to so many variables.
Would also like to give a shout out to Minnesota Chapter of NAVHDA for putting on a great test including all of the volunteers and Judges needed to make it go so smoothly.

Kiah getting ready for her Natural ability test next weekend.had some trouble getting her to come out of the water but figured out she needs a bit of room. First time seeing a pup try to run in the water to go faster lol. Kiah,VC Hank/VC Rebel . 5 month's

Fingers crossed we can earn a sr hunt qualify at the Gsp hunt test today.Hoping we have had enough bad luck experiences and handler mistakes lol.

Love watching puppies figure out what they were bred for. 12 wk Hardwire Hank/Rebel pup showing alot of potential.

A little fun with Rhyley practicing for next weekends Ukc shed hunt competition. To think only 4 sessions ago we were training in the living room. 4 sheds in 3:23 will get her on the board ❤

6 wks tomorrow, they all are gaining their own personalities!! 😁
