For the attention of all the village idiots who believed the complete fiction posted by Terry Courtney about Eclypstaff (breeders of UK Champions including the UK TOP STUD sire of 15 UK Champions). Unfortunately there is no DNA test for IGNORANCE!

Terry Courtney,
Just your dog Piro alone has been mated with 6 untested bi***es in the last 10 months. Totally nearly 40 puppies produced. These tests have been available for 15 years now. You even provide a 10% discount code for these tests to make yourself look good.
I wonder what the stats on your other dogs will be?
Shameful really.

F.A.O Terry Courtney.
These are the FACTS. CH Eclypstaff sheza truble was bred by us but owned by Phil and Jane Williams . Affix JONAJANE. Sheza truble was born BEFORE the testing was available for L2/Hc. Before then ALL our dogs and pups from that line we bred were tested for PHPV/PPSC. The first litter was before the tests and when they came out ahead had already had a litter . Her dam had passed away through cancer and her sire was tested clear for L2 and Hc making sheza trubles dam a carrier . Sheza truble was tested at the vets with a blood test ( microchip scan by the vet also ) AHT did the test that was sent by the vet and came back as Hc clear and L2 carrier. She was mated to a CLEAR dog and the single pup was tested and Clear. The breeder kept him and decided to breed to another Clear and all 3 pups were again tested by the vet at a few weeks old , again each pup microchipped to prove which pip was which. In that litter were 2 batches and 1 dog. 2 tested clear and 1 a carrier. The carrier was speyed and 1 clear never bred. 1 clear bitch called JONAJANE SHEZA MINX ECLYPSTAFF came back to us to keep the line going with only L2 and Hc CLEAR animals. From then on only CLEAR to CLEAR and PHPV/PPSC tested animals were bred. All pups eye tested. Don't know why it's not on the kc database as it was sent directly to them. This was in the early days when the aim was to breed clear and away from carriers. There were NO hidden or tests, false paperwork as claimed by people who don't know us. The tests have been in place only 15 years and we have always tested. The claims made are complete bullsh*te and just for the record he can look this up too, Ch Eclypstaff cuz I can has never mated an untested bitch . ALL bi***es were L2 and Hc CLEAR and eye tested for PHPV /PPSC. He is also DNA profiled . So they are the FACTS.

4 GRAND...... yes you heard that right 4 GRAND.

So let's break this advert down shall we???

THIS IS NOT A CHAMPION X CHAMPION LITTER 😡😡 THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING.

You will NOT find a reputable breeder breeding blue to blue and charging this much money. Blue to blue is not a healthy way to breed. Blue is a recessive dilute gene that is caused by a mutation in that gene and can cause many health problems. Deliberately breeding any form of recessive gene is not ok.

THE UK BREED CLUB RECOMMENDED PRICE IS £1000 TO £1500

Just being clear for L2HGA and HC-HSF4 does not make them fully health tested. Parents should be eye screened and so should the pups. A lot of good breeders will also patella score, hip score and dna profile.

These are far from being the best you will find for many reasons and there are a million and one better pedigrees out there.

This dog is most certainly not the UK TOP STUD. Ch ECLYPSTAFF CUZ I CAN has held that record for the last five years and ch you're yoker at Bullscaff is NOT a UK Champion. There is no such thing as zero faults, a perfect dog has never been produced and it is genetically impossible to have black nails as this dog is a dilute.

The Dam does not match Yoker on every level as that would make her a champion too but she is not. Just because a pup is Sire by a champion it certainly does not guarantee its quality. Again it is genetically impossible for this bitch to have perfect black nails and pigment as she is a dilute.

I find it very worrying that these people are using "very short muzzle" as a selling point. The breed could very sadly be heading towards brachy status if they continue to produce dogs who's muscles are too short and can't breath.

Nobody can guarantee show potential, not even the ACTUAL top breeders in the country. No amount champions in a pedigree can guarantee good pups. Breeders who have been doing it for donkeys years can only make an "educated" guess at what they hope to produce. But at least they will be open and honest about it. These particular blue champions are breed by a Polish greeder who can make champions very easily in his country. This is the main reason why they will have so many champions in the pedigree, because the requirements and competition is not matched by that of the high standard in the UK. This greeder then sells to people like Bullscaff who are very uneducated for a ridiculous high price. None of the Bullscaff studs or bi***es have ever stepped foot into a UK show ring and have no merit here.

Being L2HGA and HC-HSF4 clear does not make a good pedigree.

HERE IS THE ACTUAL ADVERT

*PICTURES UPDATED WITH TWO REMAINING MALES AVAILABLE*

Are you looking for a fully health-tested, L2HGA/HC CLEAR, short, stocky, true-to-type blue Staff from impeccable bloodlines, Bullscaff’s Piro being the grandad and Gr Champion Joker being the Dad, an impressive pedigree that no one can match?
If so, stop driving yourself mad...these are arguably the best you’ll find! We are proud to introduce to you an impressive litter, one what will be a fantastic litter of healthy, high quality, Blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier Puppies with Incredible bloodlines.

These pups are from a very well planned and careful mating which has some of the best champions in Staffords...

Sired by the UK TOP stud and The one and only blue champion Gr CH YOU’RE YOKER AT BULLSCAFF. Standing at 15 inches hes one of the best examples of a show dog you will find in the uk, Joker is crufts qualified for life which speaks for itself. Coming from the very best black and blue show lines Europe has to offer fully health tested L2hga-hc clear he has zero faults, deep chest, thick bone structure, excellent top line, short muzzle, defined large bully head, perfect scissor bite, perfect rosebud ears every single nail is black, Joker not only has the looks and correct pigmentation but also the pedigree to back it up.

Dam to this litter is the very well Equally bred Stafford. We got her from Bullscaff and her father is Piro so she matches Joker on every level. She is one of the kind...She is a Gorgeous blue Stafford holding 28 outstanding champions in her own pedigree and she passes a massive 14 champions to her pups...This girls quality is out of this world.. Standing at 15 inch. Very short muzzle.. Perfect black nails.. Perfect pigmentation.. Lovely rose ears and a fantastic head! Very high quality and a wonderful temperament.
This is her first litter so we are hoping for some wonderful show Potential pups!!

These puppies will be holding 27 champions in they own pedigree which very few can match. They will all be L2HGA/HC clear as both parents are. The quality of litter will be outstanding. we have very high hopes for this litter to end up in shows.. We would also like to add mating is a 7% inbreeding score which is lower than breed standard and two blue champions each side with heavy black in both pedigrees 😎 and to closely bred causes health issues down the line so let me assure you with this mating your in safe water.

All testing is clear, that is L2HGA/HC. So this is a truly wonderful pedigree and one of a particularly high quality in the blue type of Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Let me assure you that 27 champs in a blue pedigree is outstanding and only 1-2 others can produces this in the Uk. The stud was particularly picked for his strong black lines so the pigmentation thrown back into these puppies are out standing.

THE MYTH BEHIND THE COLOUR BLUE

In recent years the colour blue has become very popular and now accounts for the largest percentage of registered colours. Unfortunately the increase in popularity of blue Staffords has lead to irresponsible breeding purely for colour and huge prices being demanded for puppies.

A few breeders that breed purely for colour unfortunately make many false claims about their dogs to justify the large price tags.
A few myths -
No blue dog has ever held the award of “Top Stud”
No blue dog has ever been awarded a Ch title in the UK
No blue dog has black nails or nose (genetically impossible)
No blue dog is solid blue (all blues are genetically blue brindle just the pattern shows more on some than others)
Blue is not rare

Where does the colour come from?
The colour blue is a result of an abnormality of the black brindle gene, causing a dilution. It is a gene that influences hairs to form with larger, abnormal pigment granules due to abnormalities in melanin transfer and storage. This pigment clumping leads to washed out, or dilute colours. The gene is a recessive one and in order for a dog to have a dilute colour it must inherit the gene from both parents. Blue is quite simply the black brindle gone wrong!

For instance:
A black brindle dog (not carrying the dilute gene) that is mated to a black brindle bitch (not carrying the dilute gene) will produce black brindle pups that do not carry the dilute gene.

A black brindle dog (not carrying the dilute gene) that is mated to a blue bitch will produce black brindle pups but they will all carry the dilute gene.

A blue bitch mated to a black brindle dog that does carry the dilute gene will produce both blue and black brindle pups with all pups carrying the dilute gene.

A blue bitch mated to a blue dog will result in the entire litter being dilute.

There is concern that particularly in blue (dilute) dogs there is an increased risk of skin issues associated with the dilution. The continuing bad practice of breeding blue x blue dogs over generations is believed to be creating problems such as CDA.

Colour dilution alopecia (CDA) is associated with a colour dilution gene, probably at the D locus. Under the influence of multiple genes, dilute hairs form with larger, abnormal pigment granules due to abnormalities in melanin transfer and storage. This pigment clumping leads to washed out, or dilute colours. It is not known if the colour dilution gene is directly responsible for the skin changes or if a linked gene codes for the associated follicular changes. The clumping of pigment leads to distortion of the hair shafts and fracture resulting in alopecia.

Can I show my blue dog?
If your dog is KC registered then it is eligible to be shown. Blue is a colour recognised in the breed standard. A good dog is a good dog regardless of the colour. A judge does not judge colour only standard.

The reason blues traditionally do not do well in the show ring is primarily they are bred for colour not for standard by most. There are a few good examples of the breed which are blue being shown and doing well.

Join a ringcraft club (even better if breed specific) and come along to a show to watch, you are very welcome.

The most important thing to do when planing any breeding or looking for a puppy is health tests. Please ensure both parents are L2 HGA and HC clear. There are many blues rumoured to be on the wrong paperwork and lots of blue L2 HGA carriers so it is good practice to test even if your dog is hereditary clear.

***BUYER BEWARE - LEE MANNING (THORNSTAFFS)***
Reputable breeders do not ask for a deposit prior to mating with no guarantee of puppies! Most don't ask for deposits anyway. They build a relationship with their prospective puppy buyers. They certainly do not increase the price after a deposit has been paid in breach of contract and then ask for more money for the deposit! A well bred puppy from a reputable breeder that is L2-Hga and HC hereditary clear, PHPV eye screened and microchipped costs between £1,100 and £1,500 with a lifetime commitment to that puppy. They are the difference between a breeder and a greeder!

On advice this buyer withdrew as he breached the contract by demanding more money. He has still not refunded the deposit saying he will do so when he receives money from another buyer. The clock is ticking before he is reported to Trading Standards, so do the right thing Lee Manning (Thornstaffs) and refund that deposit!

***BUYER BEWARE*** There is an advert on Pets4Homes selling UNTESTED puppies for £3,000 claiming "Champion Fully Pedigree". Sire is Van Gough (UNTESTED) by the infamous Blue Turk and mother is Gracie The Girl (UNTESTED) by the infamous Game Changer who is a son of Blue Turk!! This is a repeat of a 2019 mating. When money comes before health and integrity of the breed. Shame on you!
