Camp Resilient’s purpose is to empower the local Military and Veteran Community to build mental and physical resilience by:
• Connecting the local Military and Veteran Community with holistic health experts
• Collaborating with the Military providers to offer complimentary outdoor wellness programs
• Assisting the local Military and Veteran Community in building a deeper connection with their families, each other, and themselves.

As Thanksgiving nears, we are reflecting on how grateful we are that we were able to serve the local Ft. Bragg Military community for the 3rd year in a row with our wellness programs.

The impact of these programs is tremendous and we know the need is great. Our programs use nature-based settings to help our participants build internal mental strength.

This year, as we seek to raise funds for future programs, the Camp Resilient family is raising money for miles. Many Camp Resilient teammates will walk 1 mile for every $200 raised. Here is our Executive Director, Laura's fundraising page: https://gofund.me/5c6d1912

The end of daylight savings time can disrupt energy and productivity levels--and cause sleep deprivation. According to health experts, it can take your body up to 7 days to adjust to the time change. Here are a few ways to help you adjust to the time change as we 'fall back.'

☀Go outside and get some sun this week! Help keep your internal clock consistent by getting some morning rays
😴Maintain a regular sleep schedule. Continue to maintain the same bedtime each night to help reset your body's circadian rhythm. Once you get into a consistent pattern, your body will align with your schedule and naturally recognize when it's time to wake up or go to sleep.
😎Try a sleep mask. If you like to wake up in the morning on your own time--and not the sun's--then give a sleep mask a try. It can help prevent light from seeping in and waking you up!
