At Feral To Family, we rescue feral kittens/cats from local neighborhoods to socialize them in a loving environment in order to make them suitable for adoption through the shelter.

Star is the alpha of our five cats and as you can see here, he is persistent! The others sit calmly waiting knowing Star always comes through with the goods!

We recently had to cut back on snacks as they had gotten out of hand. We weren’t aware who was giving snacks when and that Star had been begging all of us on behalf of his pride.

Since they’re so bananas over their treats, maybe we should do some serious click training. This random snack giving isn’t yielding a benefit to the cats or the family. I feel Star’s frustration and will be researching click training cats. I’ve dabbled a little but now see the need to take it seriously.

The Tabby on the top right was feral three weeks ago!

We named him Wonder because it’s a wonder that he never hissed at any of us.

It’s a wonder that he escaped in my yard only to initiate contact and a relationship with me. It is so wonderful that he was gentle with his claws even when afraid.

It’s a wonder to me that he is a talker and is so so sweet!

As you can see, we are family!

Miracle (Flame Point) and Star (Tabby) will miss Wonder when he finds his forever family but will have so much fun helping us socialize so many new feral cats.

Wonder is still with me and has not been turned over to the shelter.

Anyone interested in adopting him and do not want his ear clipped, message me! Ear clipping is required for community cats.

We love our fur family members don’t we?

Although I haven’t taken the course yet, I’ve been able to apply what I’ve learned from watching the videos on the website and here on the Trust Technique’s page. It has helped me with some challenges I’m having with my feral juniors.
