Berryfield Dressage, Lincoln MA seeks experienced PT help 2/3 days, Wednesdays & Saturdays (Mondays if possible)

Dates: November 9, 2024-April 15, 2025

Compensation:
Hourly rate, paid weekly, direct deposit with appropriate with holdings.

Hours (Monday)Wednesday & Saturday:
7:30 AM- 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:
One horse and one pony on site beginning 12/2
Over-site and care, feeding and stall picking in PM
Farm cleaning and projects

Qualifications:
Candidate will be familiar with handling colic situations
Ability to give IV & IM medications
Ability to drive a truck with a 2 horse trailer
Good communication
Familiar with technology
Ability to work independently

Exciting News! Berryfield Dressage has available space in Spring of 2025 for two training horses.

Berryfield is a private dressage farm located in Lincoln, MA. Home to 7 horses (6 FEI horses and a pony), we will have the space to welcome two more in full training in the Spring of 2025 when we return from Wellington, FL. We offer a lovely, quiet environment for horses and humans! Our trainer, Callie O’Connell is a 26 year old Grand Prix Dressage rider and trainer who is dedicated to developing and training horses of all ages and levels. She is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist with distinction. Callie trains closely with Christoph Koschel and Jane Karol. We are excited to open the doors! What is included:
• Full training/ board only
• Stalls, feeding, grooming, etc.
• Wellington, FL in the Winter (Dec. - Mid April)

Special opportunity for someone looking to get their bronze and silver medals, or just learn the ropes of dressage! We are happy to offer Fackeltrager, known as “FT” in the barn, for an on site full lease! FT is a very loved family member at Berryfield Dressage and is ready to teach someone new. He would be perfect for an experienced amateur or a JR/YR looking to gain experience in the dressage ring. FT is 15 years old and 16.2 hands with a very good brain and show record. He is schooling all the GP work, but doesn’t enjoy the pressure of showing the very high levels. He would be happy to teach someone piaffe and passage at home! He also doesn’t do well with long trailer rides, so showing locally would be best for him. This combination would be in full training with Callie O'Connell at Berryfield Farm.
