One of the canary pairs snuck a couple babies out! Both lizards it appears. Once sexed one or both will become available.

Gouldian season has wrapped up which means the canary season has started. The birds here are given the opportunity to build their own nests or use assorted types of manufactured nests. Most choose to build their own.

The gouldians seem to have come to the end of their season. As soon as chicks have finished their molt they will be available for sale. Lots of black headed chicks this year! Once birds are about 50% molted I will post sneak peak images of available birds.

Now the aviary is gearing up for canary breeding season. As I am working with new stock with the potential of unknown recessives there will hopefully be some really interesting results.

Gouldian chicks are fledging!

Earlier this year I began keeping canaries again. This young c**k is a lizard canary. I will begin producing red factor lizards and mosaics next season.

The gouldian breeding season is coming to an end with the second clutches now fledged. This batch of youngsters will become available for sale this fall when their first molt is complete.

Prices start at $75 per bird. Trades considered for other birds. Looking for star finches especially.
