🚨All my business owners out there🚨 Please please please do your due diligence with dealing with customers, payments, sales etc through social media, email, etc.

🚨I had someone contact me a couple of days ago through this page asking info about purchasing a Bandana and if I could ship it to Ohio, which I absolutely can. We went back and forth with pricing and shipping costs.
🚨They agreed to the amount and asked what forms of payment I would accept. I gave them a couple of options, one being Venmo. I sent them my direct link to go to my Venmo page and send payment. They claimed that they sent it and that it was declined or pending because of an issue with my page not being a business Venmo. They asked for my email to verify through Venmo.
🚨I then received an email from a fake "Venmo" customer service account, saying that we would have to send $300 and it didn't make any sense. The customer service number on the email was not a 1(800) number and the email address was ".com"
🚨I did my due diligence and went directly through the Venmo app and to their customer service contact and after sending screenshots of the email and discussing everything they said it is definitely a scam!

🚫For a small business this is scary that you think someone is innocently trying to purchase a product and then you end up getting scammed out of hundreds of dollars! These scammers are getting really crafty!! Never never never second guess yourself! Always go directly through the company, app, etc if you have any issues like this. It's better to be safe than sorry!

🐾We had such a good time yesterday at the WestMUTTster event put on by the Humane Society of Lake County Florida ! It was a beautiful atmosphere right on the water, tons of puppers in costumes, lots of vendors, raffles, and prizes! We can't wait for next year's event!
🧛‍♂️Of course, Hannah got to dress up and check everything out!

🗓️For our new customers, you can find us on Sundays at our regular market in Downtown Mount Dora! Just not today due to the huge annual craft festival! See you next week!
