Finally moving up the ladder! All the practice and all the teachers I’ve had thank y’all so so much. And thank you Mrs. Eveline Reuss’s for giving me the opportunity to really challenge myself here’s an update on your baby! This is Rio, (one of my projects) The previous owners told her he couldn’t be ridden, they had left him alone for a long time after bucking people off, before Mrs. Eveline got him... so we’re not sure when he was ridden last it’s been while I can feel that 😂. not entirely sure on age, the vet says he’s 10 but we think he looks a little younger, this was his first ride 1st ride April 26th after lots and lots of gaining respect on the ground, hours and hours paid off! He may have been green broke at once, and got away with a lot that he was still doing when when I started. We Still have a few things to work on . We started at 2 hours a day with straight ground work for 2 days. He was stubborn on ground. After 2 days he was doing well so I got on. He bucked anytime you ask him to move forward and he would test each time with a higher and harder buck. ( Which I was told already). 3rd day he REALLY TESTED ME 😂. But I was prepared BUT we’re not really having that issue much anymore! Now that he has a job and gains RESPECT more and more everyday, and is worked 5 days a week. Granted he doesn’t like working 😂 but what horse does. Some just show it more than others. But it is expected 🤷♀️ and it’s what I signed up for. I can’t wait to see how Rio turns out in a few months 😁💞. I like spending a lot of time with him. He’s a smarty though, haven’t run into too many like him he needs lots of attention ☺️💞. Hot day good days work.
