Whiskers of the week - Dixie 🐾
Happy weekend cat peeps! Please meet Dixie from the first bottle litter we took in after re-opening the rescue. Little stinker is totally food-driven and pretty much the first at the food bowl. I don’t think there is any kitten food she doesn’t eat😜. Dixie is available for adoption, of course all our peeps are fully vetted, vaccinated, fixed, microchipped, dewormed and flea treated. Kitten Glitter and more🐾
Hello cat peeps, as you know this year’s kitten season is crazy. Although we started late on intake, all our bottle babies are growing and will be ready for adoption within the next two weeks. If you are considering adding a fur-baby to your household, please contact us. All our peeps are fully vetted, vaccinated, fixed, dewormed, microchipped and flea treated. We are speechless, we are grateful❤️
A long overdue THANK YOU for the outpouring support. All our bottle babies are growing up strong and healthy, because of you! They will be ready for adoption soon. As always, our kittens are fully vetted, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped and an additional dose of flea meds comes with the adoption package. Speaking of microchips! What a wonderful tool!!!! All animals adopted out from shelters/rescues come with a microchips. You as the pet owner, is responsible to register this chip in your name. If an animal is lost, contact the chip company and report it accordingly. That’s what these chips are for… identification😉. All my customers, please reach out to me if you cannot locate chip info/paperwork. Thank you and God bless❤️

Oh…. How I missed this ❤️……
Hello cat peeps! Nearly three weeks back in the rescue environment, we are once again tired and exhausted. But we wouldn’t have it any other way! I said it before and I’ll say it again; these little turkeys are saving me more than I save them❤️. I am grateful for the energy boost, healing snuggles and of course laundry!

A big fat THANK YOU and Happy Easter 🐣
Hello cat peeps. It’s been a while since we posted as the cancer diagnosis put a stop on our tracks, but only for a short time.
Although I continue treatment, we feel it’s the right time getting slowly back into the kitten rescue. I mean slowly😉 And nothing better to start off with some Easter eggs collected a few days ago!
We would like to thank you all for your well-wishes, cards, texts, calls, beanies, goodies and donations. We are grateful and feeling blessed for this community and the support we have received in the past few weeks and months.
To all the cancer-warriors out there, keep fighting❤️. THANK YOU and have a blessed Easter Holiday!

Hello cat peeps! We hope, you all had amazing holidays and may all your wishes come true in 2025!
While I have to battle my health demons this year, our rescue remains open. Please meet Cheerio❤️, the last one of our cereal litter ready for adoption! Cheerio is a big time water drinker and absolutely food driven. He’ll be the first at the feeding bowl and the last one to finish. All this energy has to go somewhere! Yup: crinkle-balls😉! The cat is out of the bag🐾
Hello cat peeps! Some of you may already heard. About 10 days ago, I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Needless to say, this hit us like a ton of bricks and took us a while to come to terms with what lies ahead. Are we still caring for kittens? Yes. Are we closing the rescue? No.
But we are taking a much needed break, which allows us to re-group and re-organize the rescue and if it’s God’s will, we will be back ready for 2025 kitten season. A big thank you to Flagler Cats Inc., Port Orange Cats, Cat 6 Purricane and Holden Paws to step up on a short notice getting things situated. Many have contacted us and asked what they can do to help: Please donate, my beloved husband is trying to keep it all together, we have daily doctor’s appointments, which makes it difficult for him.
