🌸 Meet Our First Momma of the 2025 Kitten Season! 🌸

This sweet girl wasted no time showing us just how affectionate and trusting she is. The moment she arrived in her cozy birth suite, she climbed right into my lap, purring and asking for love. 💕

Her room is all set up with soft blankets, a comfy bed, a cardboard scratcher, plenty of food and water, and of course, a litter box. She even has a twin mattress to lounge on (or hide under when she needs a little privacy).

Just When I Think It’s a Calm Day…

Rescue never sleeps. Tonight, we got a late-night call about two tiny bottle babies found outside in the cold. Thankfully, a kind-hearted cat lover scooped them up and brought them to us. Now, they’re safe, warm, and have full bellies of KMR. They seem to be around 2-3 weeks old and, despite their rough start on the streets, appear to be in good shape.

We got the message around 11 PM and had just got them settled by 1:30 AM. This is the reality of rescue—it’s constant, unpredictable, and exhausting. That’s why we kindly ask that if you schedule a meet and greet or adoption, please show up or let us know if you need to cancel. No-shows take away valuable time that could be spent saving more lives, helping another family find their perfect match, or even just having a rare moment with my own family.

Your support and respect for our time mean the world—to us and to the cats we’re fighting for every single day.

It’s been a busy few days for us—we’ve had not one but two amputations. Both Spooky and Arney are on the road to recovery and healing well! These surgeries were life-changing for them, and we’re so incredibly grateful for everyone who has donated, shared, and supported us along the way.

🐾 Jack’s Journey: From Rescue to Forever Home 🐾

Meet Jack—he came to us in 2020 as a tiny, injured 4-week-old kitten after being hit by a car. With lots of love and care, he made a full recovery, and now, four years later, he’s living his best life! ❤️

But Jack’s story didn’t end there—his family came back two years ago and adopted Grace and Squish (not pictured), giving him the perfect sister and playmate. Seeing our rescues not only thrive but also gain a lifelong friend in a fellow rescue warms our hearts.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Ghost, the young cat we took in yesterday. Despite our best efforts, her condition worsened, and she has now crossed the rainbow bridge. While her time with us was brief, we take comfort in knowing that she spent her final hours in a warm, safe place, surrounded by love. Rest easy, sweet Ghost. You were cherished.
