Good Morning Hairy Dog Mother Family🐾

Let me first say I have missed you all and my furry best friends over the last 3 months of my maternity leave. I hope everyone has been doing well ❤️

I have been getting a few texts and calls about my return so I am here to let you all know that I am coming back! Don't worry! I am aiming to be back by the first week of October.
That being said, there will be a few new things that I will be implementing.

🐾 I will only be working part time. Mondays, Wednesdays and every second Sunday. This is when someone is here to look after little Edith so we don't need to do day care just yet.

🐾 There is going to be an increase to my prices. I am sure you all understand why. I will post a new updated list shortly

🐾 During grooming there may be times I will need to take care of Edith. This means I may need to leave pups alone for maybe a max of half an hour. Don't worry, your pup will always be safe here with water and a bed. No cages will ever be involved. In saying that, I may need to push the times of appointments by half an hour. As she is so little she isn't on a set time of waking up and nap times. I will do my best with keeping times but as we all know, baby don't care about time.

I will do my best to get back to everyone when I can, (during those rare nap times) Thank you everyone for your patience.

I would like to introduce Edith Georgina Stripsky. She was born the 3rd of June at 1:23am. She weighed 3.3kg or 7 pounds, 2 ounces. Welcome to the family baby girl. We are so lucky and blessed to have you.

Hello Hairy Dog Mother Family!

It is time to put my scissors to bed and hang up my clippers. I am officially on maternity leave as of today.

I would like to thank every single one of you for being so kind, compassionate, understanding and patience with me as I navigate this new adventure with my family.

Even though, it's only a few short months, I will miss you all and all your pups! Please give them an extra big hug from Felicity ❤️

I will post again when our new family member arrives and when I will be returning. Keep an eye out for the post!

🐾 Exciting News from The Hairy Dog Mother 🐾

Hey fur-riends! 🌟 I have some pawsitively delightful news to share with all of you.

👶🍼 I'm over the moon to announce that my husband and I are welcoming our first child in 2024 🎉 With our bub due in May, I'll be taking a well-deserved 6-month maternity leave period starting in April.

Before my maternity leave kicks off, I'm determined to pamper as many furry pals as possible! 🐶💅 However, as my belly grows, some larger dogs might pose a bit of a challenge for me to groom. Don't worry; I'll be in touch with those clients individually to make sure our big buddies are still looking fabulous.

I also want to extend my apologies for any short notice cancellations lately. Keeping this baby secret (not too well at times!) hasn't been easy, especially with morning sickness and unexpected personal appointments. Your understanding means the world to me.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the amazing support you've shown my little grooming haven over the past few years. I'll announce my return towards the end of my maternity leave period and contact everyone for rebookings when the time comes.

Here's to an exciting 2024 filled with wagging tails, fluffy fur, and the pitter-patter of little human and paw feet 🥳👣

To my valued customers,

Due to your overwhelming support of my small business, I am grateful to be able to announce that I have reached capacity and am unable to accept any further new customers.

It is important to me that your fur babies are looked after to the best of my ability, and to achieve this, everyone needs to be able to access appointments within reasonable timeframes. With the influx of business, I have been struggling to keep up with demand, meaning there are no current time slots available to book.

If anything changes, I will announce it here. Until then, I will from now on be strictly servicing existing clientele only.

Puppy Alert! Mr Bunsen the Bernese Mountain Dog came with his Big Sister Maple while she was having a tidy up! He is only 18 weeks old and this little boy already loves coming and hanging out! 💙 I can't wait to watch this little "potato" grow up!
